The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

The Egyptian Museum of Cairo contains 120,000 artifacts. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. An extensive collection of papyrus, Greek, Roman, and Islamic coins used in the Ancient world are located in the 1st floor. The best statues you will see is the Gold Mask of Tutankhamun. The room also host the famous collection of the young king as well as a lot of sarcophagi from different dynasties. These sarcophagi give us a brief about how rich the owners were. Do not forget to have a loot at the Grave Mask of king Amenemope, Mummy mask of Psusennes I, Figurine of Khufu, Narmer Palette, and Merneptah Stele .

the greet sphinx that belongs to king pharaoh Khafra. It is a huge stone transformed into an amazing architectural statue. also, we will visit the Valley Temple. then up to the pyramids Panorama area to take snap photos with pyramids and sphinx in the background – don’t forget to bring your camera with you during this tour.

Visiting the Giza Pyramids is truly awe-inspiring. Standing before these monumental structures, you can feel the weight of history and marvel at the ancient craftsmanship. The experience is humbling, especially if you venture inside the Great Pyramid. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization complements this perfectly. The Royal Mummies Hall is a highlight, offering an up-close encounter with pharaohs like Ramses II and Hatshepsut, bringing their stories to life. Together, these visits provide a perfect glimpse into Egypt's architectural and cultural legacy. The trip was amazing, Ahmed was super knowledgeable and very flexible with the timing/itinerary. The views of the pyramids were incredible as was the collection at the Egyptian museum.

An amazing experience and only made better by our fantastic guide Manal, she was an amazing Egyptologist and really helped us to understand the true history of Egypt, not just ancient. The museum was great although you can’t see all of the exhibits at the moment due to the move to the new unopened museum I don’t think the final stops to perfume and paper is required, it’s a long hot day so shortening the trip would be better The Nile river cruise was also great

From the moment I was picked up on time as planned at my hotel to the time I was safely dropped off this was a fantastic day, an awesome bucket list experience and it was made so easy by Amr and his driver in a private air-conditioned car. We drove to the museum where Amr got us in quickly skipping the queues and displayed his knowledge of Egyptian history and culture. After a few hours we were on our way through Giza and after a brief stop at a papyrus place we ended up at the pyramids. It was very crowded to get in so we walked a little and again were able to skip some main queues to avoid wait times for seeing the Sphinx and pyramids. A truly magical experience which was made all the better by Amr. Full marks to him for his excellent service, his knowledge and his friendly and pleasant nature. I thoroughly recommend him and this tour. Well worth it.
