This was one of the best cruise boat trips we have been on for years! Easy to book on, easy free parking close, easy to find well displayed! On the trip it was well organised lovely boat plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs! The tour guide was so informative friendly and great humour! Its the first time we have been on a clew bay trip. Wow completely stunning scenery, loads of wildlife, birds, hundreds of seals, sheep, horses! Such a different perspective of Clew Bay moving around so many of the islands! Completely entertained and a treat of live music on the way back! The price was very reasonable great value made it an affordable trip out with the kids. We will definitely do this trip again next time we are in Westport!
This is just a commercial ripoff. You go through a Disney World kind of exhibit explaining the process which is kind of interesting for a while but as you go to the tasting experience you are reminded that this is just a “take your money” gimmick. The employees are rude and it is a let down. Go get a pint somewhere else. It is more fun.
I had a disappointing experience with this bike rental service initially — a mix-up that left me waiting around with no immediate solution and feeling pretty frustrated. But what stood out more than the mistake itself was how they handled it afterward. After leaving my review, the team reached out with genuine concern. They didn’t make excuses — they acknowledged the issue directly and took full accountability, showing a level of professionalism that’s rare these days. More importantly, they went above and beyond to resolve the situation, and their response was gracious, sincere, and greatly appreciated. Mistakes happen in any business — what matters is how you respond, and in this case, they truly turned things around. It’s clear they value their customers and take feedback seriously. I walked away impressed, and I wouldn’t hesitate to give them another chance based on how well they handled things. Fair play to them.
Our original time was cancelled but they notified us the day before and asked if we can do earlier show and we could. We went and what a blast it was. The cast and crew were spectacular. The food was also surprisingly very very good. You never know what you’re going to get food wise and this did not disappoint at all. Very well run and organized We will highly recommend it to others
I did the walking tour of Trinity College Dublin and the Book of Kells experience as part of a cultural option at a conference I attended, and it was worth every penny. Joe, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the university--both long ago and recent, as he was a student there himself! I would definitely recommend the tour to friends & family.
The tour was tremendous! Our driver (Cathal) enhanced the trip with his stories and knowledge of history. Seeing so much of Ireland in ten days made this trip well worth our time. We also enjoyed the ability we had to have leisurely or active days. Throughout the ten days we never worried about safety - the Irish are amazingly friendly!
I rarely give low ratings but I truly believe the owner at Paddy’s, Paul, intentionally ripped us off for £101! Plus, once we saw other bike rental equipment, it was clear Paddy’s has much older bikes, and with Paul’s attitude, I question their upkeep! We went to Paddy’s on a Wednesday night to look into renting on Friday. As expected, it was raining off and on that week. Paul gave us lots of info and recommended making a reservation to get a 10% discount. He also recommended an e-bike since we are both seniors. That night, I made our reservation. Come Friday, it was raining Per the site, you can email Paddy’s directly, so I emailed early cancelling the bikes and requesting a refund. We stopped by later in the day to ask about the refund. Paul explained there was NO REFUND if you reserved ONLINE! He said lots of people ride in the rain! I said we could have not made a reservation and not paid but he recommended it. He said that it said no refunds on the website, “you got the discount” and “those are the rules” and walked away. I said, “You make the rules” and left disgusted. I checked the website and did NOT see anywhere about no refund. I looked at other rental sites, and they did say no refund for reservations ON THEIR FIRST PAGE IN BIG PRINT. Hence, please don’t waste your money at Paddy’s!
Spooky, Fun, and Full of Fascinating History! We had an absolute blast on this walking ghost tour through historic Dublin! From the cobbled streets of Temple Bar to the hauntingly beautiful grounds of St. Stephen’s Green, every stop was packed with eerie tales and fascinating insights. Our guide, Deirdre, was phenomenal — super knowledgeable, engaging, and full of personality. She really brought Dublin’s dark past to life with stories of ghostly goings-on, grave robbing, witchcraft, and the city’s gothic connections like Bram Stoker. The tour included stops at iconic sites like Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, and Marsh’s Library, and even lesser-known but atmospheric places like St. Kevin’s Park. Despite the rainy weather, the walk was smooth, enjoyable, and well-paced. My son learned so much about the city’s history and had a great time — this tour is perfect for history buffs, horror fans, or anyone who loves a good scare! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Dublin who wants to see a different, spookier side of the city.
*I am reviewing this on my husband’s account! What a fantastic tour of Dublin! Rob was so knowledgeable and friendly and I wanted to be his friend life! My husband and I were the only ones on this particular tour, and Rob did not cancel but took us everywhere and gave us a great history of the town! We learned so much! The 2 hours flew by! He wasn’t just about spitting facts to us, but he was a recipient in the conversation and we talked about personal things as well! He’s a great presenter and I would take all tours from him if I could! Thank you so much, Rob!!
Had a great day exploring Howth, tons of fun with Nicky and very informative! Would absolutely recommend, wonderful way to spend an afternoon, beautiful views, and excellent equipment. Absolutely loved meeting and connecting with our host Nicky, she definitely made it a super fun day!
