Built on an old hermitage. The monastery was built due to the religious influence of the place, thanks to the continuous pilgrimages that pay homage to the Virgin of Montserrat. The monastery is currently being renovated, due to its destruction as a result of Napoleon's invasion in Spain, so many artistic and architectural elements of the sanctuary are from modern dates.
We will appreciate the beauty that the mountain offers with its famous views that impress visitors. We will have lunch in the place enjoying the landscape.
