A fun day

Yasushi was fun and informative throughout the various places visited. Details on the village history, gardens, and the entire gold leaf process was entertaining. Was an enjoyable day.

Shirakawago and Kanazawa All-In-One!

A great tour of Shinagawago and Kanazawa! Yasushi did a wonderful job explaining the historical significance of Shinagawago. We visited in the morning before the major crowds arrived. It was a great experience, but the surprise fun occurred in the afternoon half of the tour in Kanazawa when we visited the beautiful Kenrokyen Garden, participated in making Wagashi sweets, applied gold leaf to create cards, ate gold leaf ice cream, and watched artisans prepare gold leaf. This tour had it all and I highly recommend it! Yasushi was energetic and fully engaged throughout the tour, and made this experience both informative and fun!

This was a great day tour! Our tour guide Yasushi was awesome and organised it really well. Shirakawa is obviously stunning and definitely one for the insta but the afternoon part was actually surprisingly good. Having a go at making the sweets was pretty fun and having a guided tour through Kanazawa allows you to know what you’re actually looking at and understand it in a bit more detail. Yasushi also took us to the gold leaf museum which was actually super interesting and allows you to appreciate what you’re eating before you finish up with some gold leaf ice cream! Highly recommend

Yasushi made our tour fun and interesting. We received lots of information on shirakawa-go on the way there in the bus to help us understand the heritage site ahead of our arrival. Once there we were free to roam thanks to the maps and info we were provided with. Ideal tour for small groups and individuals alike. 10/10
