A pleasant walk among Icelandic history, street arts, folklore and colourful dwellings; ideal for small groups - max. 10 people We’ll visit the city’s main landmarks such as the Parliament house, Hallgrimskirkja church, the Pond as well as other picturesque locations, lesser known to tourists…..and of course, we won’t miss the colourful works of art hidden around Reykjavik, one of the street art capitals of the World.

Touring and chatting with Luca

We walked the city with Luca in September and had a great time. We enjoyed the history of the city, buildings, and details, like why the particular sidings on houses, etc. Luca is easy to talk to, flexible and points out things he finds you interested in. We even had a little sit down to try some food and drink samples and enjoy the ducks and swans there. After visiting the church and statues nearby we were pointed to a wonderful little fish and chips shop to finish our morning. Luca is a great ambassador. We were the only two that morning which made it even more fun. But Luca limits his groups to 10, unlike the 20+ size group we saw. Those in the back could not possibly hear everything. So pick small and get to know the city.

We had a great tour guide it was fun to learn about the rich history of Iceland and Reykjavík . We tried some freeze dried cod (interesting) which was fortunately followed with local chocolate
