Thelma was an amazing guide who made this food tour feel more like a fun night out with friends.
Be prepared—this is a boozy tour! Nearly every stop featured a local drink paired with delicious food. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the sardines paired with Portugal's famous green wine. Just a heads up, it’s a seafood-heavy tour, so keep that in mind.
Each stop had a unique atmosphere that gave us a true taste of Portugal. Thelma’s stories about the local traditions and rivalries—like the one between Ginja sellers—added a fun, personal touch to the experience.
With plenty of food and drink, this tour was great value for money. I’d recommend it over a standard food tour any day for anyone looking for a lively, tipsy way to explore the local scene!
