Discover the beauty of the Grand Canyon of Europe, Georges du Verdon, the lavender fields (from end June to July) , The incredible Lake Saint-Croix, The Medieval village of Moustier, The village of Castellane on a full-day excursion with a professional local guide aboard a comfortable, recent vehicle. Depart from Nice, passing through the Gorges du Loup, arrive in Castellane and get free time to see the famous rock. Then, visit the biggest canyon in Europe with its many unbelievable point of views. Enjoy a lunch in Moustier, the capital of Fayence. Discover the lavender fields during the season of Lavender (from end of June to end of July) Depending on the weather conditions and your wishes, your driver/guide may offer you free time at the lakeside instead of the walk in the village of Moustier. At your convenience !

  • Cascades du Saut du Loup

    Admire the very picturesque waterfalls of the Saut du Loup with emerald colored pools. Located inside the Gorges du Loup (Canyon of Wolf) take advantage of this opportunity to capture unique photos (entrance to the waterfalls included in the price)

  • Castellane

    You will join Castellane through the French Alps and enjoy free time in this village located at the gates of the Verdon Gorges and nestled at the foot of its famous rock culminating at 180 meters with its church perched at the top.

  • Gorges du Verdon

    Follow the Verdon River, named after its surprising turquoise green color, to the canyon considered the most beautiful in Europe. Enjoy the spectacular and breathtaking views of the depths of the gorges which reach depths of up to 700 meters. Your driver guide will take you to the end of the canyon to enjoy a photo stop at a point overlooking Lake Sainte-Croix.

We really wanted to explore this area whilst visiting the South of France & this seemed to be a good way of seeing lots of things we might otherwise have missed. The area is beautiful and we certainly got to take in some outstanding views. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable & encouraged the group to enjoy each others company which we did & this enhanced the trip too. Personally I'd advise to take a pack up or walk towards & have your meal in Moustiers Sainte-Marie itself not where the bus stops (though we were told the food was very good there) so as not to miss out on this beautiful little village.
