This was a great half day tour. The guide / driver was very knowledgeable and offered interesting info as we drove around. The views were spectacular. If you want to go to the beach, bring your own towels. At the beach, we opted for a little boat ride around the beach and into the caves. It was perfect, about 40 minutes, and only $15 EU each person. Enjoy!
The Turtle Tour was amazing! Brothers Dimitris and Pantelis were incredibly helpful ( even charge for my phone I received) and also with knowledge for the place and care about the nature. Everything is organised with thinking for guests comfort and communication with Ian is very easy. Local guide is million times better just a guide!
An absolutely unforgettable day that we’ll cherish forever. We were lucky enough to have the entire boat to ourselves. Andreas is an incredibly kind and welcoming host—he made us feel completely at ease from the moment we stepped onboard. The scenery was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. We were also served delicious drinks and snacks. We felt so lucky and grateful. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly, highly recommended!
Wow- what a day! There are plentiful operators offering this trip in Nidri but somehow I don’t think they could better the wonderful experience we had. The captain and crew were extremely proficient, friendly and welcoming. You could tell they really cared the guests had a great day. The BBQ on the beach was outstanding. Would definitely book again.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this cooking class where we were joined by 7 male recent business students from the US who were happy to try their hand at real cooking rather than college microwaves. The menu was delicious, filling and well-organized according to prep time. Stella and Marianne were excellent hosts and even though Mom's English was limited she was able to communicate and help whenever needed. The most remarkable adventure was cutting fresh artichokes from their field without getting hurt. The menu included Dakos, stuffded grape leaves, stuffed zucchini blossoms, lamb stew and dessert with wine poured liberally. All in all the 4 hours flew by and we felt we had enjoyed a lovely meal at a reasonable price.
Five Star experience with our walking tour and hospitable guide, Nikos. Nikos is a local of Nafplio and has extensive knowledge of the city. We enjoyed our time with Nikos and the history he shared with us and can honestly say that it was one of the best tours that we have ever taken. We felt that we had a good understanding of the city and enjoyed its beauty. Take this tour and enjoy your time with Nikos…..he is an absolute delight!
I had an excellent experience with Thanasis, from Santorini Airport. Since I made the booking two weeks ago, he stayed in touch to make sure everything was perfectly arranged. He is extremely professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. I truly felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. I highly recommend Thanasis to anyone visiting Santorini — a reliable and outstanding service in every way!
Unfortunately, I have massive regrets booking this tour with the company let’s book travel. We missed our tour because of a few reasons: 1) while information was provided for pick up, it was different across different platforms. For example, pick up in my email confirmation was “8.30am, Monastiraki square” whereas in the Viator app, it was “7.35am Attalos hotel”. 2) there was no way to directly contact the travel operator. In the email, there are links to a phone number, a WhatsApp number and and email address. All of which either direct you to their online portal (which somehow does not function well), their customer service bot (which repeatedly says they are busy and cannot be contacted) and their WhatsApp which redirects you to their online portal (which again does not function well at all). Their phone line is always engaged, and they will always say they are too busy to speak. In short, this travel operator does not want to be contacted at all. 3) when I was finally able to reach them, they were unwilling to accommodate (I had offered to meet the tour halfway so that we could continue with the planned activities) - this was immediately shot down with no explanation why - simply “it cannot be done”. 4) I then asked to shift the booking - to which the reply was “unfortunately it cannot be done because some tickets for the trio have already been paid for”. There is not even an attempt to follow up with any sort of customer service or assistance. I was not asking for a full refund, simply a shift of the booking. I would have been willing to top up any difference in price to make up for the new cost of tickets. 5) Given this experience, I can only conclude that that this tour operator is only in this for the money. They have no interest in assisting customers, their entire feedback process is designed to turn people away, and their booking instructions are complicated and contradictory. We have been on multiple tours across various parts of Europe, and unfortunately I must say this is the absolute worst experience we’ve had. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to visit Athens avoid this company at all costs. Happy to share screenshots of their interactions as needed.
Booked the morning tour as this includes the museum. We were the only people on the tour so felt like a private tour. Guide & driver were great and the vineyards weren’t very far from Kamari. We preferred the wines at the first vineyard but the views from the last one were fantastic. Wines were great and the nibbles helped to soak up the alcohol. The museum is interesting if a bit strange. Very informative tour and no hard sell of wines which made a welcome change.
