  • Conduct: The tour will involve entry into third party premises, and you acknowledge that you will be subject to the rules and regulations of these premises upon entry
  • Subject to weather conditions. If canceled due to bad weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date, activity or a refund
  • Grand Cayman is a tender port, please disembark as early as possible to avoid missing your tour. You may request "priority tender" on-board your ship
  • On arrival to the cruise port, look for the "AMVIVO" sign located at the gazebo next to the North Terminal. Feel free to ask the port authority staff for directions, if necessary
  • Check-in will start at 1:40 PM
  • Tour operates on local Island time not ship's time
  • If your ship dock's somewhere other than George Town, please take a cab over to meeting location downtown
  • If you arrive to the meeting location too early and don't see anyone from Amvivo do not panic, there are shops and free Wifi spots within 100 feet from the meeting point where you can wait around and kill time. 
  • If you have a car, parking is available behind the Bayshore Mall in George Town
  • This tour is not recommended for cruise passengers with departure time 5:00 pm (local time) or earlier
  • Not recommended for travelers with limited mobility

Rum distillery for the win

We had so much fun at the rum distillery. The rum cake place was not so great. The tour guide didn’t know what each machine was called. They were not making cakes at the time either. Seemed like just a way to sell cakes. At the distillery they were upbeat and fun. They knew .what they were talking about and the samples were generous. My only suggestion would be a chair for us older folks. Didn’t even mind that it was crowded. They made it work!

Our tour guide was Nicholas Martin who did an excellent job. In addition to the rum and beer tour specifics, he shared a lot of historical information on the Cayman Islands. He made the tour fun and entertaining. He was a perfect gentleman and a very good and safe driver. I highly recommend this tour.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. We had probably the best possible experience with this tour. It was just me and my wife and our new friend David. He treated us like family and not just a couple on a tour. We were shown everything that was promised and had best time we've had on an excursion in a long, long time. He was very personable and professional. His knowledge of the island and his personality made this a one-of-a-kind experience, and I would be surprised if anyone on the island that day had as good a time as my wife and me.
