 Avoid the crowds and join us on your own private boat with crew for an experience of a life time, from seeing the stingrays at the world’s famous stingray city sand bar to snorkeling with the beautiful tropical fish and the colorful coral at one of our favorite snorkeling sites to relaxing at starfish beach.Â
Itinerary
Free transportation from the 7 mile beach area and the cruise ship port. The boat is located in the newly renovated Cayman Islands Yacht Club where you'll depart from, once you arrive your captain will give you a safety briefing and you can decide what stops you want to do first. He'll have you sign a liability wavier and you'll be on your way out to the north sound (bay area) which is protected by the barrier reef where you'll do all your activities. On your way out your captain will tell you about the island and its history. At each stop you'll be briefed before entering the water to ensure everyone is comfortable and aware of their surroundings.
Your stops will include: the infamous Stingray City, a must do for anyone visiting Grand Cayman and it is the ideal interaction for all ages. In our small and private group, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime to see our friendly stingrays.
Coral Gardens, a great spot for the average snorkeler. The water is about 8-10 feet where you’ll have a memorable experience surrounded by many tropical fish, maybe catch a glimpse of a moray eel and even a Cayman lobster, who all flourish in the variety of colorful coral life!
Starfish beach, a quiet and relaxing spot great for both kids and adults and is approx. 10 mins boat ride from Stingray City. This is one of the most requested tours offered. You’ll have the chance to walk on the shoreline and be captivated by the red and orange starfish which makes taking a photo extra special!
Your boat will be a Chaparral 274 sunesta which can seat up 11 guests comfortably with its newly redone seats. Your boat will be equipped with snorkeling equipment and life vest for everyone, the boat also has a custom heavy duty ladder which makes in and out the water very easy, there is also a restroom on board as well as a cooler with ice, water and sodas. You are also welcome to bring along your own drinks or food.

My husband and I had wonderful time! This was our first time taking a 3 hour private tour and we highly recommend. The boat was immaculate and well taken care of. Alex was polite and professional. His love for the island showed in his knowledge about marine life and other aspects of the island.

We booked this directly without going through the cruise line. There were NO issues. We were met by a driver who took us directly to the Yacht Club.

The captain (Alex) great. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He was great with the sting rays and took extra time to make sure the children (3 and 6) had a great time. Owner was great also as he recommended change changing the dates of the charter due to high winds and provided us a new time on his own. This was great and our charter worked out perfectly.
I would highly recommend Island Splash Watersports and will use them again when I return.

My family and I had an awesome time on our private boat exploring the 3 different locations. The stingrays were truly an unforgettable experience, being surrounded by so many. The starfish point has minimal starfish, but the beach area itself was beautiful. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a spectacular part of the Cayman Islands.
