  • Changing of the Guard

    Begin your tour with a journey through Royal London, witnessing some of the most famous Royal Houses and Palaces such as St. James' Palace, Clarence House and Buckingham Palace. Enjoy the iconic Changing of the Guard Ceremony as you march down the Mall with the Queen's footguards or marvel at the impressive horses of the Household Cavalry (daily itinerary is dependent upon the schedule of the British Army). Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful St James' Royal Park to finish the first half of the tour.

    Our journey continues through historic Royal Westminster. We pass Churchill's War Rooms and onto Westminster Abbey - the site of every Royal Coronation since 1066, it is the most important church in England. Explore Parliament Square with its array of impressive statues immortalizing such historical figures as Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill. Overlooking Parliament Square is the most famous sight in London - Big Ben. Admire the stunning gothic architecture of the Houses of Parliament before heading down to 10 Downing Street, home of the Prime Minister. Capture the perfect photograph with the horses of the Queen's Guard before exploring Horse Guards Parade.

  • The Changing of the Guard Ceremony operates at the discretion of the British Army. It can be changed or cancelled without notice. This is beyond our control.
  • In the event of bad weather the Changing of the Guard Ceremony may be cancelled. The tour will endeavor to watch the Changing of the Horse Guards on these days.
  • Not recommended for those with walking difficulties as the tour can be a brisk walk in parts.

Highly recommend, knowledgeable London tour guide

Harry the tour guide was excellent! Animated, knowledgeable, funny. We spent 2.5 hours together in a small group exploring central London by foot. We were interrupted by a shut down road due to filming a movie - he navigated the situation flawlessly. He even gave us tips for visiting the “changing of the guard” for the following day. Thank you Harry! Money well spent.

A great organised way to get round some of the iconic London landmarks

Down in London for a couple of days and used this walk to take away the need for us to be in the right place at the right time and the risk of getting lost. Far exceeded our expectations. Start point was easy to find. John our guide had a group of approx 17 people of various nationalities, all of which he interacted with and had great engagement with. He imparted so much information;facts & funnies and had us in the right place at the right time all through the walk. Extended our time as he was keen to pack as much information in as many places as possible - then happy to answer questions and help people onto their next place of interest Noticed a number of other groups who's guide was clearly going through the motions with some very bored looking tourists. Highly recommended - very happy we got John (not Camilla !) really made our day.

I booked this last minute on the last day of our trip in London and so glad I did. This was the best day!!! John our guide was amazing! He is full of information and extremely funny! He knew exactly where to go to get the best spots everywhere !!! One of the best tour guides I have ever had !! We saw more than I ever thought we would in the few hours with him! Harry was great! He got us to all of the spots to watch each guard change. We had a lot of fun speed walking our way through the crowds. He had so much information to share. Fun fact for us was the flag change when the King is in the palace and the next day we saw the flags change. 10/10

Get ready to WALK FAST

This was a very fast paced tour. But I LOVED IT. I know that by myself I would have never known where to view the changing of the guards. And he had the beast views! Harry was so good a keeping us all together and explaining everything to detail. I really enjoyed it.
