Explore the beautiful scenery of the English countryside on this full-day tour of Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath. Head to Windsor, home of the British Royal Family famous for Windsor Castle. Over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you there. Continue onward to the 5,000-year-old prehistoric site of Stonehenge with a guide, and ponder over its use in centuries past. Visit the charming English village of Lacock for a traditional pub lunch, and finally, enjoy a coach tour of Georgian city of Bath as well as a short walking tour.

Itinerary

  • Windsor Castle

    Over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you in Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames just outside of London. From William the Conqueror all the way through to the current King Charles III, Windsor is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket includes entry to Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel (if entry option selected). Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

  • St. George's Chapel

    The Chapel has been the location of many royal weddings including TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Within the Chapel are the tombs of 11 monarchs, including The Late Queen, Queen Elizabeth II. Your ticket includes entry to Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel (if Castle entry option selected). St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays.There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.

    Enjoy one of the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a world heritage site (Entry included If entry option is selected)

    The Village of Lacock was the setting for numerous scenes from the Harry Potter films including the Philosophers stone and the chambers of Secrets. Enjoy our guided walking tour exploring this medieval gem before we head to the George Inn a 14th century for our pub lunch. Please note the venue for the meal may change.

    Drive through The Royal Crescent, a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in Bath. This is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture in UK.

    Visit Roman Baths Museum (at your own expense). The Roman Baths were built nearly 2,000 years ago. Built on Britain's only natural hot water spring lies the magnificent Roman public bath complex and Roman temple.

  • Lunch will be taken late in the afternoon (around 3pm).
  • The venue for the meal may change.
  • Please note the order of the itinerary including the time of the meal may change (late lunch/supper).
  • When Windsor Castle is closed (currently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) we will have free time in the town of Windsor.
  • St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays. There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.

We had a wonderful time...

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The pub lunch in Lacock was a delightful surprise that truly enhanced our day. Without this tour, we wouldn’t have been able to pack so many experiences into just one day. If you have limited time in London but still want to explore, this is the perfect tour to book!

A wonderful tour

The tour was so much fun. We could have easily spent more time at Windsor Castle, but that’s the trade off on a multi-stop day tour. The food at The George Inn was cold and not very good, but that’s not why we took this tour. We were able to see amazing historical sites all in one day, without having to travel to and from each, and got some great background information as we traveled from Eugene our awesome tour director while our expert driver Ricardo delivered us safely and comfortably. It was a great experience - highly recommend!

Our day tour with Eugene was both informative and entertaining. He made us feel completely at ease and ensured we stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed. His “dad” jokes were a highlight for my 12-year-old, who eagerly hung on to his every word, always anticipating the next punchline. Meanwhile, our driver, Ricardo, was fantastic—his expert driving made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this tour, as attempting this journey on your own would be challenging, and a single day wouldn’t be enough to truly experience everything. Plus, who would want to miss out on Eugene’s entertaining spiel? Definitely NOT ME!
