Eight of us took a break from a golfing trip ; most of us had previously spent time in Kilkenny but realised during the tour that we had only scratched the surface until then as John’s presentation really brought the beauty and history of the ancient city to life.

This tour covered a lot of important areas in Kilkenny which helped to understand its amazing history. We were also able to pick areas of interest to return in more depth. This was a great way to start our time in the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and outgoing.
