Overview

Our boats carry 12 passengers each. This allows for small intimate tailored tours. For group booking larger than 12 people, they will be seperated into two boats. Be sure to bring your camera as there are some fantastic views of the Castle and other sights of kilkenny. See the city as both invaders and settlers did, from the river. Our guides cater each trip individually depending on your knowledge of kilkenny history and that of the river Nore, including it's wildlife. This trip will leave you feeling relaxed and having a little more knowledge of the city's colourful characters and past.

This was a really nice little sojourn. Cliff our ‘boatman’, told numerous historical and anecdotal stories along the way. Well worth it!

Beautiful Ride

Ann Marie provided a smooth and interesting ride on River Noor. She pointed out important sites and shared local history. We watched mallards and swans, and saw nice views of the castle.

A Lovely Experience

We fully enjoyed our boat tour in Kilkenny. Cliff shared the perfect amount of history, local hotspots, as well as knowledge of birds we spotted along the way. For early October there was an expected chill in the air, however on the water the sun was shining and with proper outerwear we were very comfortable! We highly recommend the tour for a unique perspective of a fabulous city.
