    Our driverguide will be waiting for you at your private address or at the reception of your hotel in Budapest center. Normally the pick up time is at 09.00am, but we are flexible so you can change the pick up time according to your wishes. The ride takes approx 2 hours to Bratislava city.

    First let's start with picturesque Old Town Bratislava for a walking tour. On this guided tour, enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Slovakian capital as you see its main sites such as Michael’s Gate, the only remaining gate of the medieval fortification of Bratislava, and Bratislava Castle. Visit Grassalkovich Palace and learn about its history from your guide. Built as a summer residence for Count Grassalkovich in the 18th-century, this huge rococo-style palace was used as a Hungarian aristocracy social center. Continue to the Primate’s Palace, an 18th-century palace inspired by French classicism considered today as one of the most beautiful buildings in Bratislava. Then, enjoy some free time visiting one of the numerous coffee houses, shops or cultural sites. After walking around the famous, lovely streets of Bratislava Old town our driverguide will take you to Vienna center, the ride takes one hour.

A wonderful journey from Budapest to Vienna with a stop in Bratislava.

We recently took a tour with Attila from Budapest to Vienna, and it was an amazing experience! Attila greeted us warmly and made us feel excited about the trip. Our first stop was Bratislava. Attila shared interesting stories and facts about the city. He took us through the charming streets and showed us both famous sights and hidden gems that we wouldn't have found on our own. His love for the culture and history kept us engaged. The drive from Budapest to Vienna was smooth. Attila drove safely and comfortably. When we arrived in Vienna, we felt like we had learned a lot during our journey. Attila’s passion for his work and his friendly nature made a lasting impression on us. Overall, I highly recommend Attila for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Europe. He turned our simple transfer into a fun adventure filled with learning and beautiful sights. Wonderful Private Transport from Budapest to Vienna

My friend and I went from Budapest to Vienna with Sidetrip Tours with a stop at Bratislava. However, we also made sidetrip tours to Szentendre, Esztergom and Gyor before stopping at Bratislava. I wanted to visit Gyor but didn't think we had the time. Were we ecstatic! Didn't know that was part of our itinerary! Didn't know about Szentendre, but happy to discover this quaint artistic village. Lots of little shops for shopaholic like us! Our guide, Csenge, was amazing. She communicated with me thru WhatsApp day before to tell me what to expect. And she was on time the following morning! An excellent driver and tour guide! I recommend Sidetrip Tours to everyone!

The best way to get to Vienna from Budapest!

I made a last-minute booking for this tour when I realized I had a morning to spare, and I’m so happy I did! I received a message confirming my booking almost immediately, and the operator Susana was responsive throughout the whole process. I was a little wary at first about doing this tour on my own as a solo female traveller, but my tour guide Tom made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout. He tailored the itinerary in Bratislava according to what I wanted to do, shared lots of interesting information about the history of the region, and got me to Vienna International Airport right on time to get checked in for my flight. The journey was easy and comfortable, and I would definitely recommend doing this instead of braving the train station crowd to take the train!

Safe driver and excellent guide

First of all Csenge was late arriving due to traffic but she kept us updated via WhatsApp. She provided excellent commentary along the way. Answered all our questions. Was conscientious about bathroom breaks. Stopped at a traditional restaurant for lunch and helped us order. Was a great driver and carefully parked in some very tight spots. We were 2 couples only and the van was very comfortable. Due to road closures along Danube we had to go through the forest. A great day! Definitely better than the train because we made 4 sightseeing stops along the way. Ask for Csenge!

Great transfer with great tour

At first I thought the price was too high. But our driver was FANASTIC. I think his name was Tony. He was so informative and gave us an amazing tour of Bratislava. He was able to answer all our questions. He even took us to the castle area that wasn't in the tour description. I can't say enough positive about this tour. Well worth the extra money.
