Overview

On this Budapest bike tour, we’ll show you all the important sights of Pest on an easy-paced ride. From the river bank we’ll make sure that you catch a glimpse of beautiful Buda, too. Instead of overloading you with mind-numbing dates we prefer sharing all the basic info, fun facts and insider stories with you. We’ll pass 2 UNESCO- World Heritage Sites on our tour and see much more than that on our way. Most importantly, safety comes first, that is why we cycle on bike lanes whenever possible and avoid roads with heavy traffic. Get up close and personal with Budapest – by bike!

Meeting points

St. Stephens Square 4 (szent Istvan Tér 4) at the Basilica. Our guides pick you up at the entrance of California Coffeeshop Company. Metro line 1,2,3 Déak Tér. From there it a 5 minute´s walk.

Excellent bike tour

Lovely bike tour around the city. Our guide Lazlo was excellent. Lots of stops to explain and point out interesting features that we would never have noticed. We really got a feel for the layout of the city and were left with lots of great ideas of places to go. Great idea to take this tour

great afternoon of discovery

Our guide Samuel obviously loves his job and is passionate about Budapest and Hungary. Samuel is local but speaks excellent English, adds humour to the tour which contains a lot of tourist guest interaction and is extremely knowledgeable about the city. He took us to the main sights of Pest but also pointed out some local quirks in the area that without a tour I definitely wouldn't have been aware of. I could have cycled round Pest all day learning about the city, its history, architecture and odd little statues with Samuel and I dare say he would be happy to cycle round Budapest all day, laughing and smiling and sharing his knowledge and love for his city. If your lucky he will even take you ta a great place for a Gluwein! little tip add some rum to it, apparently its a game changer. The bikes are well maintained, comfortable to ride and I felt safe on the streets of Pest at al times.
