Our Viator guide, Mauricio from Koyote Tours, exceeded our expectations! We debated a group tour over a pricier private tour, and decided the one-on-one connection on a private tour would be worth it. It was well worth it! The personal interaction with two of us and our guide Mauricio, gave us an opportunity to ask any questions about what we saw and get complete answers until we were satisfied. He made us feel comfortable, and we felt like we were on a walk with an old friend. Mauricio had knowledge about the Historic Centro Guadalajara area that must be unmatched by most any other guide! When questions strayed from the topic at hand, he still had answers and we were very happy to get to share in that knowledge with him. Mauricio was always willing to go in the direction of our interests in what we looked at and how long we wanted to stay at any particular point on our tour. His passion for the city, it's history, it's people and its notable people was very obvious to us. He gave us a better understanding of the history of Mexico from the ancient civilizations to the modern Guadalajara city we see today. We plan on being back to the city and we will definitely look Mauricio up again! As well as recommend him to our friends and family.
