Overview

Are you looking what to do in Guadalajara? Stroll the historic center hosted by a local expert. Live a one-day cultural experience that will take you through the history, traditions, and ways of life “Tapatíos”. You will visit the main attractions of the city center: squares, monuments, churches, walkways, colonial buildings, and local craft shops. Appreciate the striking murals of Jose Clemente Orozco, one of the great exponents of Mexican muralism. After learning the history, and appreciating the architecture and art, we will end up in the Libertad market where you can find dozens of options to try the traditional food and drinks of Jalisco such as tejuino, torta ahogada, and birria. This is a full immersion tour into the local culture. It is designed to share knowledge and create a social, friendly, and fun atmosphere. Fernando was our Gide tour , he was very knowledgeable about the city and had great food recommendations. Over all a great tour I feel like we see and learn a lot in a short period of time.

Fernando was wonderful and so knowledgeable. Really fascinating tour that covers history, art, culture and more. We were the only people on the English speaking tpur so it was a private tour as well.

Fernando is an excellent and professional tour guide. His communication with me through it all (there was some scheduling conflicts) was quick and clear. My adult son and I took this tour specifically for the murals and he was extremely well educated on the artist, the vision, the history behind it. He gave us time to soak it in first and then took time going through them. The visit to the library was perfect for us as my son is a huge reader. We learned some much about Mexicos beginnings -that I have to admit o did not know about preciously. Take this tour, it’s a good deal of walking but it’s worth it.

Fernando was great! Very nice, very knowledgeable, and funny. If you are looking for a tour of Guadalajara as an American that knows nothing about Mexico, this is the tour for you.
