Pickup details

Regular group tours start and end in Guadalajara, pickup and dropoff is exclusively offered for the Greater Metropolitan Guadalajara area. Only in the context of a private tour can the departure/drop point be set in Tequila. The Tour starts at 10:00 am and usually finishes at 5:00 pm in Tequila, ... which entails that we are back in Guadalajara around 6:30 pm (depending on traffic conditions). **If you reserve the small group version of the Tour (Original Tequila Tour) and there are various parties to be picked up at different locations, we usually start the pickup route in the center of Guadalajara and make our way to the exit of the city in an effort to be efficient and have everyone wait the less time possible. Once we have all hotel locations for our clients, we will reconfirm the pickup time by email as soon as possible.** The times are approximate; Guadalajara is Mexico’s second largest city with a population nearing 7 million people, therefore traffic can be difficult at rush hour and times may be longer. We had a great experience touring New York City with Jonathan. He's a great tour guide and he made it very memorable and enjoyable. Excellent small tour!

The two of us wanted to take a tour of Tequila country and had a hard time deciding on a company that wasn't just a party bus. Mickey was very responsive in answering our questions and then making it easy for us to book a tour once we had decided. As stated on the website, the tour was very professional, but also comfortable and fun! We got a great education about tequila and came away with answers to questions we hadn't even thought about. We saw a couple different producers and got to see every aspect of their productions, and learn how their flavors were different from the methods. Our tour guide Jessie was super-informed and knowledgeable in every step of production through to guiding us on how to taste. A highly recommended company and tour, proving a fun and educational experience. Thanks Mickey!

Don’t think twice, Tequila is a have to and Mickey’s staff are top notch! Our guide Yanet and driver Juan Carlos were so welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Took my husband for his birthday and choose to do a tour just the two of us. Want to plan a group couples trip back to tequila and I know who to call.

We enjoyed every minute of this private tasting with Mickey. We learned so much and realize you can really just sip and enjoy so many different tequilas and mezcals. The food was delicious! Mickey's wife even joined us for a bit. We had a great relaxing conversation with both of them, and his friend who owns the restaurant where the food came from joined us as well. He had karaoke set up, if we wanted to partake...we didn't but for some it would be a great way to finish off the evening. We were never rushed...it was a truly fun evening!

This is the best way to do a Tequila tour! Our guide, Jesse, was fantastic, fun, informative and has become a friend. We got rare insight into the process because of their relationships with distilleries and were able to do the trip on our time frame without the binge party atmosphere of a tour bus. Highly recommend this tour group!
