Enjoy a breath-taking panorama of Prague from one of its top viewpoints, then walk through the gates and start your tour. No matter how large and overwhelming the Castle may seem, with your private guide, you will navigate easily and won’t miss any of its hidden gems.

St. Vitus Cathedral

Admire the monumental splendor of the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, its stained glass windows, and richly decorated chapels. See the tombs of old kings and emperors as well as patron saints. Learn about the crypt where the Czech kings are buried and the Crown Chamber, where the Crown Jewels are kept. Marvel at the beauty of the Last Judgment Mosaic and visit the halls of the Old Royal Palace, learning about crucial historical events, such as the famous Defenestration of Prague, which triggered the Thirty Years War.

St. George's Basilica

Then continue to the St. George's Basilica, the oldest surviving church building within Prague Castle which belongs to the oldest convent in the Czech Lands - Benedictine St. George's Abbey. Within its simple-dim walls, you will travel back thousands of years to medieval times.

Golden Lane

As a beautiful highlight of your tour, you can look forward to discovering the most picturesque street in Prague – the Golden Lane. With its colorful miniature dwellings, it seems like a world on its own within the Castle walls. Here you can see how common people such as castle shooters or goldsmiths lived in the past, as well as what medieval prison and torture rooms looked like.

Lobkowicz Palace

Finally, filled with new experiences, feelings, and emotions, conclude your tour with a 3-course lunch in Lobkowicz Palace Café which hosts a sweeping panoramic view of Prague from its outdoor terrace. It offers a great selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, desserts, and of course top-notch coffee and Lobkowicz beer. In the 3-course lunch menu - you can choose from a variety of dishes, so give yourself at least an hour to soak up the view and have a tasty meal.

Pacing was great. Guide was very knowledgeable. Lunch was great! It was a lovely day. Trip was adjusted to our wants/needs as we went.

Rewarding Experience With Hanna!

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Hanna. We were lucky to find out that we were the only couple signed up for the tour which made this a personable experience. Hanna was very polite, patient and filled with helpful knowledge about the History of the Czech’s city of Prague. Hanna was able to answer all of our questions and we found this tour to be very rewarding. The lunch was delicious and included soup, the main course, dessert, an alcoholic beverage, water and coffee. The menu had many choices which was nice. We would highly recommend this excursion to friends or family.

Great time with a great guide!

Hannah was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable about the art and history of the castle complex. We loved our tour and would highly recommend. Another great perk Hannah provided with her vast knowledge were tips and tricks to keep us moving and ahead of the crowds so we could enjoy our experience even more. Would tell all our friends to book with Viator and ask for Hannah!!!
