Overview

The Taormina White Lotus private luxury tour is an invitation to experience the adventure of a Sicilian holiday in one day: visiting all the highlights of Taormina that appear in the movie and also sailing with a private boat around the Isola Bella’s bay! We are pretty sure that if you are reading these lines, you probably know that Taormina is the main White Lotus filming location: great views, wonderful attractions, exclusive hotels, and a unique atmosphere made the perfect framework for the second season of this film series. Now, we might not be able to assure you a night at San Domenico hotel, but we surely can guide you to see the places where the movie drops were shot as you cannot miss some Instagram-able photos for your profile… and envious friends! We will celebrate this private tour with a beautiful aperitivo on the boat.

    Porta Catania delimits the southern part of Corso Umberto I and is part of the second fortified wall, and its construction dates back to 1440.

  • Piazza IX Aprile (Pass By)

    One of the most important squares of Taormina is from where you can admire breathless views and the ancient monuments.

  • Quattro Fontane di Taormina (Pass By)

    The fountain was built in the square in front of the Cathedral in Baroque style and takes its name "4 fountains" from the four small columns located at the four corners of the central body and which are surmounted by four seahorses from whose mouth came the water.

    The greek-roman amphitheater was built in the 3rd century B.C.

Best Excursion

Can’t recommend this enough. We had a fun, relaxing and easy experience with this tour. Our cruise port got changed and the company reached out proactively letting us know they’d pick us up at the new location. We were greeted by Mariarita right at the port and Giuseppe drove all of us to the boat next to Taormina. The boat ride was a highlight for us. We got to see some of the filming spots from the White Lotus show but also enjoyed a fruit plate, Prosecco, and an hour of swimming. The boat was perfect. Mariarita gave us a tour of downtown Taormina and recommended a great spot for lunch overlooking the water. We had a great day as a family and highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect Day in Taormina!

A perfect day! This tour was the highlight of our vacation! Katia our guide and Giacomo our driver were both amazing! Katia was full of knowledge and was there for our group of 6 with whatever was needed throughout the day. Our 3 boys (20, 18 and 16) who have never seen the White Lotus tv show, thought the tour was great and we all found Taormina to be a beautiful town. The boat ride that was part of our tour, will be one of the top memories of our vacation. The boat owners were so warm and welcoming. Tremendous hospitality. If you’re looking for a tour company for an excursion in Messina, Sicily or Taormina, look no further than Discover Messina. We booked several excursions during our time in Italy thru the cruise ship or with other independent companies, and Discover Messina blew them all out of the water. Their communication was excellent from time of booking all the way thru the day of our tour. Meeting point was clear and everything went smoothly. The boat ride was a MUST do and absolutely incredible! Maybe the highlight of our 2 week Mediterranean trip. The guide/driver was great. Understood everything we wanted to do in Terromina and gave us time to shop on our own!

The white lotus tour plus

Our guide was awesome and ver knowledgeable. Picked us up at the port and drove directly to taumora to a private speed boat ride by a lovely couple. We then went to a very old amphitheater overlooking the beautiful sea. We walked thru the town and had a small meal then went the courtyard where the white lotus was filmed. A perfect day.
