Overview

Discover Taormina, a jewel unique in the world with our private shore tour from Messina port. Your driver will pick you up from the cruise port at your most preferred time. On board of a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, you will reach the historical centre of Taormina, where you will have free time to explore the pearl of Mediterranean: the wonderful Greek Roman Theatre with terrific views over Mount Etna and the bay, the Cathedral of San Nicolò di Bari, the Public Gardens, the fascinating Corso Umberto with its boutiques and colorful balconies and much more. You will have the chance to take the cable car to reach the bay of Taormina and see Isola Bella, which is a protected natural site as well as a beautiful beach. The driver will pick you up from the bay or the centre at the agreed time to take you back to your cruise. Kindly note that it is also possible to add a tour guide at extra cost.

    Our driver will pick you up from your cruise port at your most preferred time. On board of a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, you will reach Taormina center, where you will have free time to explore the pearl of Mediterranean: the wonderful Greek Roman Theatre with terrific views over Mount Etna and the bay, the Cathedral of San Nicolò di Bari, the Public Gardens, the fascinating Corso Umberto with its boutiques and colorful balconies and much more. You will have the chance to take the cable car (cost € 3,00 per person one way) to reach the bay of Taormina and see Isola Bella, which is a protected natural site as well as a beautiful beach. The driver will pick you up from the bay or the centre at the agreed time.

The Cathedral of Taormina, is part of the medieval buildings of Taormina and in its external appearance, it maintains the characteristics of Sicilian Romanesque-Gothic architecture.

Very nice pick up from cruise port to Taormina.

Giovanni picked us up in a van and drove us to Taormina to start the tour. He had a heavy accent but spoke English and was very nice and a good driver. He drove us to see the area where the movie, the godfather was filmed and then back to Messina. Giovanni was very nice and went out of his way to make sure everything was great. I would recommend this driver and tour if you are in Messina from the cruise port.

An excellent service, text to say the driver was waiting at the port for us so not to worry. Walked out and there he was dressed immaculately waiting for us. Took us Castelmola first and had an hour which was perfect. He was there to take us onto Taormina at the time he told us. We had three hours there which again was the right amount of time. He was at pick up point waiting for us to take us back to the ship. A lovely day and brilliant service. I would highly recommend this company who are efficient and reliable.

Nino was phenomenal! He was very attentive, and gave us good recommendations for a short day. We only wanted to have a private driver to go Castelmola and Taormina and he delivered to perfection. The time was perfect in each place and he let us roam free. We have a great time, I recommend Nino and the service 100%
