This private tour will allow you to explore the Peneda Geres National Park in a unique and personalized way. Founded in 1971 to preserve the region’s biodiversity and traditions. Let us introduce to Peneda-Geres National Park. Beginning the journey in Porto or and always with the greatest comfort we will head towards the national Park. Behold wild animals such as the horse Garrano, the deer and who knows…, even the famous Iberian Wolf. Once you book, we will get back to you and create your program according to your preferences. We can have a nice family day with smooth transfers and easy hikes to calm lakes... or more demanding treks for hiking lovers! You can choose to spend your day hiking, swimming in lakes, bathing in waterfalls or visiting traditional villages. Note that by booking with us you are directly contributing to a local development association.

  • Peneda-Geres National Park

    Made of Earth and Soul, this is one of the most magical places in Portugal. World Biodiversity Reserve by UNESCO since 2009, the park is a unique attraction in Portugal, for its size, diversity, and beauty. There are centuries-old agro-pastoral villages shaped by their isolation, history, and different local resources. Walk through them and interact not only with the inhabitants, but also with the animals that populate the park. You can also experience the most beautiful waterfalls in the park in a safe and pure fun environment. Lover of good food? You can taste the fantastic flavors of our picnic accompanied by one of the most beautiful views of the park. If on the other hand you would rather enjoy the comfort of a closed space, we suggest a lunch in a typical restaurant of the region. Do you like to walk? We have for you breathtaking idyllic trails with longer or shorter distances and less or more demanding walks. Personalization is the key to the success of your day!

Best Activity Of My Trip

Tiago was honestly the best tour guide we had the entire trip in portugal, he was very helpful and made the journey through the park feel like an adventure with a friend….was my favorite part of the entire trip.

Teresa was the best guide ever. Her energy knowledge professionalism and driving skills were amazing. We had so much fun. Would definitely recommend her again and again.

The best day of my holiday

Even though we had bad weather on our trip, I had the best day of my whole week in Porto. The guide was fun and informative. We had a lovely lunch learnt local customs and history went to Roman natural spa. It was just wonderful being in the mountains.

A great way to see Peneda-Gerês National Park

Carlos was very friendly and informative. He also was able to pick us up at our accommodation and was on time. We appreciated his attentiveness, expert driving skills and being flexible based on our interests. The views of the park were amazing and we definitely appreciated Carlos’s knowledge. We wouldn’t have wanted to drive the very narrow and curvy roads on our own. The lunch was also delicious!
