Cathy Zhang-what could we say about her? Well, she's incredible! We want to give her 10 stars. She is like a walking dictionary whenever we talk about the History of China. She knows everything about the dynasties and related famous persons and stories. Besides that, she is very energetic and helpful. We really enjoyed our tour with our guide Cathy. If ever we visit Beijing again, we would definitely request Cathy to be our guide. The Peking duck lunch, etc., which came with the tour was delicious. Xiexie for the wonderful day. What an amazing informative day. We booked in the UK prior to our visit to Beijing and communications with Cathy over WhatsApp were perfect, not speaking the language we didn’t need to worry as Cathy has excellent English and even communicated with our hotel receptionist to arrange an early breakfast for us. She met us at our accommodation lobby at the requested time where we joined our driver Leo, (we felt very safe and the vehicle was air conditioned and very well presented both mechanically and comfort ) we had no queuing at any of our attractions and Cathy arranged all tickets prior to our arrival. We enjoyed a feast at a restaurant Cathy arranged of peking duck, kung po chicken with broccoli, rice, noodles etc we were so full as the offering was plenty. Cathy’s knowledge is extensive she is a walking encyclopaedia. I must also say she is also an excellent photographer and took many photos for us as a family. We recommend this tour we learnt so much.
An amazing private tour of Beijing’s most famous locations

We had an excellent time with Kathy who was a walking “Chinese history encyclopaedia”. She was very fun and energetic. She also had great knowledge of all the sights we saw. We saw the Summer Palace first, beating the rush by going early in the morning (she and the driver picked us up from our hotel). We then saw the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The tour was very organised and there were ways which we could skip the queue. We had stricter dietary requirements, but they made sure we went somewhere really nice for lunch. The tour wrapped up at the Temple of Heaven which was beautiful. This is a must-do tour which you see some of Beijing’s key sights! Our driver was also very peaceful and always on time.
