Chuan was a great help during our flash visit to Pekin. He helped us with the tickets and guided us all day recomending us good places to eat too. He picked us up at the hotel and left us at the airport. The car was perfect and clean. For sure I would repeat with Chuan again !!!
Meeting point could have been Kowloon since we had to meet in Central and then back track. Unfortunately on that day the cable cars were in service so we missed that experience. Everything else was grat. An ideal day trip. Great views and our guide gave us lots of background information and answered all our questions.
Mike is a marvellous local who spoke very fluent english, a rare find in China after so many trips to China. He was able to explain complex and contentious history in simple terms and even contrast with european empire. Whilst he avoided the touchy issues, he left facts for you to think through. Never go this place without a good guide.
We had a 10 hour layover and decided to take a trip to the wall during the wait. The driver, Ruby, was waiting for us with a sign with our name on it (we were even a bit late going through the immigration process but this wasn't a problem) and she could communicate with us in English. The drive to the wall and back was safe and comfortable and while we were there Ruby helped us with tickets and provided us with warm jackets. I can definitely recommend booking transfer with the company!
I recently took a trip with Hong Yin to Jinshaling and had an excellent experience thanks to an outstanding driver. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The driver was incredibly reliable, arriving right on time and ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride. His safe and skillful driving made the journey both pleasant and stress-free. Overall, I felt well taken care of, and the trip was memorable for all the right reasons. Highly recommended this trip to Jinshaling
This tour was the highlight of our China trip. The local family were so lovely and the dumpling making was brilliant. Martin who does the cricket fighting show is highly entertaining and so interesting. It’s a great day out with a mix of temples, local off the track sights and interesting facts. Lucy was our guide, she was brilliant. This tour is worth every cent particularly how much food the local family make you, and they will even give you a beer! Brilliant day.
Wang was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of experience and fun insights. We had a series of unfortunate travel mishaps on the road to Xi'An, but it was all worth it in the end and Chelsea and Wang were very helpful and accommodating. Wang managed to fit so much into a condensed version of the tour, and even managed to squeeze in bringing us to see one of the farmers who discovered the Terracotta Army way back when!
Our guide, Michael was great and took good care of us, explained the history and answered all questions. We left early morning which allowed to avoid crouds. First you visit only one tomb (the main one), then go to the great wall. It's interesting but ultra touristic, you have to leave the car and take a shuttle bus to the wall. You can take a funicular up (extra 120 Yuan) or walk, I strongly recommend walking, it is steep but you can just go as far as you can/want, it looks similar everywhere. You have about 1.5 there which allows you to hike all the way north to the last available tower and back it you're reasonably fit. Then lunch, option for the local restaurant option (rather than wetsern bufet) for a more authentic experience. Then they take tou to a jade factory and tea house which are just tourist traps but you don't have to buy anything. I think they might get a cut if you do as things ar of course overpriced One star less only because I was somehow hoping for a less mass-tourism experience at the wall. Guide and overall organisation were great.
Excellent tour to hit the big attractions in one day. Exactly what I was looking for. Very convenient hotel pickup and drop off. Our tour guide Helen was fantastic, she was very accommodating to everyone’s needs and very knowledgeable. She really made the day very easy and enjoyable.
We had a fantastic time, Lina and Swallow were so kind and accommodating on our trip. We felt very well taken care of and highly recommend this trip to anyone. I recently went on a tour of the famed terracotta army near Xian. Tracy, my tour guide and local to Xi'An was a phenomenal treat to help explain and educate my group about many different aspects of Chinese history and culture. She was one of the best guides I've ever had and thankful she was with us. Tracy gave clear and very detailed explanations in perfect English. It was easy to understand her and she was able to explain many different questions we had. She was the definition of why you hire a tour guide: Great information, easy to understand, and a lovely guide to flow you through history and the sites around an unfamiliar place. Thanks Tracy, this was an experience I'll remember for a long time.
