Overview

Private Walking Tour with official tourism guide from an Agency Certified by Turismo de Portugal RNAAT 729/2020. To enjoy together with those you like most and it is unmissable, one of the highlights of the northern region. Discovering the city's historic center will take you on a journey into the past. In the archaeological site there are ruins of populations that inhabited the city thousands of years ago, and next to it you can see the oldest cathedral in the city, dating back to the 12th century. Discovering the most emblematic buildings, monuments, streets and alleys will help you get to know the city and its inhabitants. At the Port Wine cellars, the visit and tasting will be a highlight of the tour and all this with a fun and attentive guide, which will result in a visit that will undoubtedly be unforgettable. Itinerary

    Visit to the historic center in the city of Porto speaking and passing by the most emblematic places: S. Bento Station, Porto Cathedral, Rua Santa Catarina (stop to taste pastel de nata), Avenida dos Aliados, Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello, Ruas das Flores, Ribeira. Crossing the Pente Luís I visit the Port Wine Cellars with Port wine tasting. It is worth finding out about the production of this wine so famous worldwide, but it is even better to taste it.

    The station considered by international magazines as one of the most beautiful in the world, is decorated by magnificent tile panels that tell important facts of Portuguese history. We will tell you everything.

  • Porto

    A visit to the historic center of Porto will help you discover more about the city and its people. We will pass by some of the most emblematic monuments of the city, Morro da Pena Ventosa or Porto Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the city that dates from the 12th century, the São Bento station, Avenida dos Aliados, the Torre dos clérigos, the Churches do Carmo and Carmelitas, the Garden of Cordoaria. One of the most commercial streets in the city is Rua de Santa Catarina and then we will go down to the riverside area through one of the most visited streets, Rua das Flores. We will pass by the Palácio da Bolsa and the Ferreira Borges Market and the Port Wine Institute.

Wonderful experience

Beautiful city. The driver was a great story teller and funny. We really enjoyed it. He took a little linger to allow us to enjoy the trip more. The food was incredible. I recommend it.

Susana was most knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We saw many parts of the city as well as did a port tour in a comfortable pace. Learned a great deal of history as well.

Susana was very patient, as I had trouble with my arriving flights. She was flexible & corresponded with me very well until I arrived. She took me to one of my favorite places in Porto- Palacio Cristal, a beautiful, must see place with gardens & a great view of the city. We parked, had a walking tour by the river & old down town, had a nice coffee experience and a very informative tour of the main train station with its history. Then, as requested, she took me for a magnificent lunch with all kinds of food in a local restaurant. I was certainly the only non-Portuguese person in the restaurant. The service and attention to me was over the top. Then, she very graciously connected me with my next guide Reuben, which was very kind as well. I highly recommend her services, she will do things right!
