In this tour by the Rivera of the Douro, we will show you how Porto and Portugal became, thanks to its explorers, a naval and colonial empire, how its isolated location at the end of Europe with only two borders (Spain and the Atlantic Ocean) will force it to seek fortune beyond the known world, revolutionizing from then on, trade, navigation and naval engineering among other great feats.
Although Portugal conquered and discovered with its ships and explorers beyond the seas, it conquered the palates with sardines and codfish, all washed down with wine, not only port wine but also vinho verde. In our tours there is always a place for gastronomy, man does not live by history alone. And if we talk about wine, we talk about Gaia, its neighboring city from where you can better contemplate Oporto.
Our tour goes through walls, emblematic neighborhoods, viewpoints, bridges, stories, a thousand stories, sad and happy, heroic and cowardly, admirable and despicable.

This typical bourgeois house with sunny characteristics faces west and offers wide views over the Douro River.
Casa do Infante, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the historic center of the city of Porto, which is why we recommend that you include this historic monument as a must-see if you have the opportunity to travel to the Portuguese city of Porto.
Igreja e Museu de Sao Francisco do Porto (Pass By)

Miragaia (Pass By)
Miragaia, is one of the tourist neighborhoods of Porto. It is located near the Ribeira, and also adjoins the river, but in ancient times it was outside the wall, being an area of sailors and merchants passing through.
