We had a really great time on this tour, and found it to be a really good value!
Originally, I was planning on trying to take trains ourselves to Koprivshtitska and Plovdiv, but the amount of time and effort it would take compared to being driven made me change my mind.
It was great being able to do both in one day!
I didn't really know what to expect as I thought maybe we were just being driven and dropped off in both locations, but our driver Georgi guided us through both cities.
Georgi was really laid back, kind, and super informative! He knows so much about the history of Bulgaria and it's the most I've ever learned during a tour about a place. We also loved that we were able to complete the tour at whatever pace we wanted (didn't book private but since it was middle of winter - we were the only ones).
Georgi also gave great advice about other activities in the area, and honestly hanging out with him all day was the highlight for us! He felt like a friend by the end of the day.
Plovdiv and Koprishtitska were worth seeing too, of course. Such rich history!
