Your passionate and knowledgeable guide will escort you to experience traditional NOLA samplings in the French Quarter, including a few commonly mentioned in cookbooks. You will sample a variety of authentic tastings. Depending on your food tour time, options may include: Traditional Gumbo at a Creole restaurant, Seafood or Short Rib Po-Boys, Alligator Sausage, Muffuletta, Jambalaya, Char-Grilled Oyster, Pralines, buttery Praline cookies, and stroll past the famous Cafe du Monde. Learn about the rich legacy of fine food in the French Quarter and which hotspots to check out on your own later. You can even work with your guide to customize the tour to your interests or upgrade to a small-group tour with no more than 13 guests. Please note tastings are subject to change due to current availability.

Jack was an amazing tour guide. He flawlessly wove in historical narratives about New Orleans while explaining the origins of the different foods we sampled. He put our group at ease so that we easily felt comfortable chatting with each other during our walk. The five food stops were each unique and the food choices offered excellent overview of New Orleans cuisine. The food was also delicious! Everyone in my family loved the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to friends!

Fabulous tour! Our tour guide, Nate, was great. He knew New Orleans history and food. We went to several restaurants and learned the history of some of NOLA’s favorite dishes. Highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

A must for the best of New Orleans food staples and history! Our tour guide Nate was very knowledgeable and gave us all the best information while eating some amazing food. I took this tour 3 years ago and it was just as awesome today and it was 3 years ago and I got a different variation of food this time around. Would definitely recommend to get to know the city and the food!

The tour guide, Susan, was perfection. She married food, culture, and architecture into one perfect tour. Not only did we have some of the cities best offerings, we enjoyed the best of the best. I didn’t expect to get as full as I did either so you’d better come hungry. Her stories of churches, directions, and landmarks were also outstanding and deepened my appreciation for the city she loves.
