Take a romp through the haunted French Quarter on this famous New Orleans ghost tour. During your 2-hour evening walking tour, explore the grim and ghastly deeds of New Orleans’ haunted history as you follow your entertaining guide down dark and sinister streets. You’ll learn about infamous events that occurred long ago and be chilled by evidence of phantoms and ghosts that abound! This is the original ghost tour of New Orleans. We are the oldest and largest walking tour company in the city. We are not only locals, we are natives to New Orleans. These are the ghostly tales that we heard growing up in and around the most unique city in America. Our guides are licensed by the city. Our guides love their city and are proud to share their stories as well as some of their own personal encounters with the ghosts of New Orleans. Our tours are theatrically presented but are all historically accurate.

    Follow your guide through the legendary French Quarter, also known as the Vieux Carré, the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. This eerie, chilling yet fun-filled adventure takes you to several sites of documented hauntings by the region’s ghosts and spirits. See the French Quarter residences in which unbelievable events took place and visit a haunted bar along the way. You’ll get the shivers amid the shadows as you descend into New Orleans’ grim and grisly past, and discover thrilling tales of supernatural activity – try to capture it in a photo if you dare!

    The party never ends on Bourbon Street. As you hunt for ghosts departing just steps away from the biggest block party in the world. Take in the essence of the famous of all streets, Bourbon Street.

    There are many more haunted bars in the French Quarter than we can possibly include in one ghost tour but often that bar is this one. Located on Bourbon Street it is hosts to a number of ghost stories as well as signature drink called Voodoo.

    Jackson Square takes on a completely different persona after dark. See one of the most iconic landmarks in America when the shadows and spirits come out to roam. This tour usually ends in or near the square.

    The most notorious alley in all America where pirates sold their contraband and killed their enemies and all right next to a Catholic Cathedral! Legend says that if you begin drinking in Pirate's Alley and make your way to Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, the ghost of Jean Lafitte will greet you when you get there. Many a visitor has witnessed the apparitions of pirates running in the alley then disappearing late in the evening.

    Most of our guides end their ghost tour near this iconic bar in Pirate's Alley. Stop in and try an absynthe, dubbed The Green Fairy for it's hauntingly green appearance. This famous pub was a popular hangout for Aleistar Crowley in the early 1900s as well as an entire culture of vampire lifestylers in the 1990s.

Bob was awesome! We took a haunted history ghosts and legends tour and learned so much! True stories about ghosts, vampires and legends. He made it so much fun and had great jokes. He has a knack for storytelling and I have a new appreciation for the city of New Orleans. You must!
