Great City Tour in Medellín

Today my husband and I did the city Tour. The weather was in our favor and we got to see some beautiful views, but we also had the opportunity to learn about different area of the city like the history of Comuna 13. Our tour guide Camilo was very knowledgeable was very kind respectful professional and took his time with us. He was patient with us when we wanted to take photos, he actually took some great ones for us. It was really nice! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting for the first time. It is worth it. Nothing beats a private tour! Thank you Camilo for your time and company!

Sebastian was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a guided tour of downtown Medellin and explained the history of the area. We visited many old buildings and parks. We then went out to the Comuna 13 area and explored this area and the history of all the troubles. He’s extremely kind and wonderful guide you will appreciate his kind manner and knowledge.

Had a 4 hour trip with Camilo, who was a real local and so knowledgeable - he really made us feel comfortable throughout. This was the first time we took the option of a private guided tour and it was so worth it as we had such a personal experience and could adapt as we went. The tour includd Comuna 13, which I belive is not usual for most operators and that was a very eye-opening and at times disturbing experience, but it is so good to see a community rise up from such hardship and make the most of what they have. I really encourage you to go there and help out with everything they are doing now. It felt 100% safe and there are some fantastic boutiques and street vendors selling all sorts of funky items. A must visit. Highly recomend this tour if you are in Medellin, ask for Camilo if you can get him.
