Overview

We start up our tour in the morning with a traditional breakfast at a local spot to craft our local tour. We start from Mohammed V Square "Pigeons Square" that forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town and is home to some of the most striking architecture in Casa. Along with the neighboring United Nations Square. It’s a public square represents the place where the old and new town meet. Followed by a walk through the Medina of Casablanca. Dip into the daily life of the locals and travel back in time while rambling through the narrow streets. Discover the bustling market where clothes, spices and traditional leather goods are offered by handi-crats workers. Up to a real must-see monument “Hassan II Mosque”. Admire and learn the incredible facts about its dimension. It is known by its high minaret of 210 meters. Finally, we’ll get to know La Corniche. It's a promenade known for summer activities and night life. Last, we finalize our tour with a delicious Moroccan lunch.

    We start up our tour in the morning with a traditional breakfast at a local spot to craft our local experience.

    After breakfast, our walking tour starts together with Mohammed V Square "Pigeons Square" that forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town and is home to some of the most striking architecture in the city.

  • Place des Nations Unies (Pass By)

    We walk along with the neighboring United Nations Square. It’s a large palm-tree lined public square represents the place where the old and new town meet.

  • Old Medina of Casablanca

    Followed by a relaxed walk through the Medina (old town) of Casablanca. Dip into the daily life of the locals and travel back in time while rambling through the narrow streets. Discover some influences from the French colonial era after visiting the bustling marketplace where clothes, spices and traditional leather goods are offered by handi-crafts workers.

    Finally, we’ll get to know La Corniche. At the magnificent seafront as we may enjoy a walk or simply relax in a cafe with a view of the Atlantic Ocean that offers a less traditional and more holiday escape-side of Morocco. You can dip into the water if you feel daring.

    Up to a real must-see monument “Hassan II Mosque” with its impressive world’s tallest minaret. Admire the building from the outside and listen to the incredible facts about its dimension.. The mosque is known by its high minaret of 210 meters. To visit the mosque from outside is free, but if you are interested to see it from inside you need to buy a ticket as it is viewable only as part of a guided tour after you buy a ticket for 130 MAD

Cultural tour of Casablanca - local experience on foot

Our guide, Achraf, was excellent! He was knowledgeable about history of Morocco and Casablanca, took us around the city to all major tourist points of interest as well as to some very authentic local places to eat breakfast and lunch. He was very welcoming and friendly. Great experience!

I had a great experience with Tarik Belasri as my tour guide. I was lucky because I was the only one, so it was a private tour. He showed me around and we went to places where you can feel, see and smell the culture. Places where I wouldn't go if I was alone. Tarik told about the history but also about his personal background which made it unique. He can tell you a lot about the culture and it felt like I could ask any question. Had a great time and would totally recommend it to anyone travelling to Casablanca!
