This was our first activity in Nepal. We flew in and immediately met our guide for the food tour. Highly recommend doing this early in a trip. Understanding food is one of the most basic things to understanding a culture and moving with ease in a new city. This tour was great. We went to several different places, winding our way through the streets and alleys of Thamel. Didn’t see very many tourists where we were eating! The food was a great selection of street food. Our guide gave us detailed descriptions of what we were eating and the cultural history of each item. Highly recommend doing this tour!!

Great experience tasting Nepalese food and snacks like local does. I loved learning what ingredient they are using and how they prepare and cook. Very fascinating. Our guide Namaste was kind and considerate person to be with and me and my daughter had a great time learning Nepalese food world!

My mum and I went on this tour and got to experience authentic Nepalese food. Namaste was an amazing guide and was very welcoming and kind. The tour went for around 2 hours, where we walked around the main district of Kathmandu. We learnt and ate so much! Thank you!
