We recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Hiking Team, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! The organization and professionalism of the Nepal Hiking Team was fantastic— airport pickups, flights between Kathmandu and Lukla, accommodations, and the daily logistics of the trek were all perfectly executed. Ganga was quick to respond to our questions via email as we were planning our trip and ensured everything went smoothly once we arrived in Kathmandu. On the trek, our guide Deepak Dhakal and assistant guide Bikash, as well as our porters Prabin, Prem, and Kedar were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, kind, experienced, and attentive to the needs of everyone in our group. We learned so much from Deepak and the team during our daily hikes and enjoyed playing cards and sharing stories in the evenings. We were grateful that each night Deepak would let us know what to expect on the following day of the trek. If you’re considering a trek in Nepal, we cannot recommend Nepal Hiking Team enough. We hope to be back again!
It wasn’t an easy trek, but our guide Dinesh took good care of us and helped us in every way possible & Himalayan social journey made it safe and worth while for us. We spent 3 weeks in Nepal, 8 days of that on Khopra Danda trek. High Spirit agency organized our stay - hotels, transportation, guide on trek, meals on trek etc., communicaton was very good and even during our stay if we wanted to change the plan agency owner Shiva was flexible to help us. Friendly and kind aproach, we had a lot of fun with Shiva on trek and during our whole stay, higly recommended if you are looking for travel agency in Nepal!
The DWT was absolutely amazing the guides and porters were absolutely exceptional and honestly would not change a thing about it, the Nepali gradual does take it out of you after a while but the guides are excellent at working around your strengths and letting you know exactly what it coming up on the next part of the walk and future days if needed.
I had a great time with Kamal today. He was very patient and knowledgeable answering all of my questions and expanding on the history of each location. He was able to provide a lot of insight that I would not have been able to pick up on just by myself, I would definitely recommend!
This was probably the best tour I have been on! I usually prefer to go solo, but our guide Asmita changed my opinion. She was not only knowledgeable, but a true pleasure to be with. She really made the tour extra special, and I am very grateful for that. Also, totally impressed with our driver Krishna’s mad driving skills.
I had a truly wonderful experience on this full day tour. It was just me, the guide, and the driver. I only had two days to explore the city and this was perfect for cultural sites, learning about Nepalese history and culture, and finding special gifts/souvenirs along the way.
Trekking to Everest Base Camp was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made truly exceptional by the incredible support of our guide Mahindra and our porter. Mahindra was knowledgeable, professional, and always attentive to our needs, ensuring our safety and comfort every step of the way. His deep understanding of the region and warm personality made the journey even more enjoyable. Our porter was equally amazing—always smiling and carrying our bags with great care and dedication. The entire trek was well-organized, from the itinerary and accommodations to the meals and acclimatization days. We felt supported throughout and could fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and the unique culture of the Himalayas. Highly recommended for anyone considering the EBC trek—especially with a team as reliable and kind as Mahindra and our porter!
Overpriced for what it is and you still have to pay for the admission fees. Our guide felt detached and came off as demeaning, assuming we didn’t know how to correctly choose currency to pay for tickets. The crematorium should not be part of the 4 sites because it’s is not very desirable and should be replaced with another site. Our guide also saw us getting harassed by sellers at one of the sites and did nothing to protect us or warn us against them.
Alpine ramble made our experience better than ever imaginable. I was in a group of 6 guys who all have never been to Nepal before and our guides, Arjun and Ayush, made sure we had the freedom to explore while also equipping us with the structure to feel safe and be respectful of the land and locals. We had push up contests, played pickup volleyball in the mountains, and a bounty of late night talks. International trips can often feel black and white when embarking on a journey without local insights, but Alpine Ramble added color.
After collection by car from our hotel at 5:30 AM, we were whisked to the domestic airport through minimal early morning traffic. The ticketing process was efficiently handled and following a much-needed coffee, we were on our way in a van to the Helipad. After takeoff, there was a great view of the Kathmandu valley and dwellings. Continuing up in to higher terrain, there was good visibility as we weaved through the mountains and little villages dotted amongst the trees and winding trails. Closer to our destination, the majestic snowy peaks of the Himalayas rose up and we then landed at the famous Lukla airport for refueling. From there we ascended up and looped the base camp of Everest that provided an opportunity for multiple photographs of the fearsome mountain. Landing at the Everest View Hotel, we settled into the deck area for breakfast taking in the magnificent views. Exploring the surrounds, one can enjoy a stunning 360 degree view. A similarly smooth return to the city airport allowed one to digest a fantastic experience. The Adventure Master Trek group flawlessly arranged the trip that was just the right length and allowed afternoon time for reflection. This experience is to be recommended as a marvelous way to take in this iconic part of the world in a relatively short period of time for the busy traveler.
I done a tour with Umesh as an solo traveler. He was very professional, helpful & knowledgeable. He took me to some amazing places which is worth to visit while in Nepal. Full of history , nature & breathtaking views. We had a driver Banda who was also great, punctual & professional. If you're looking for great day out of Kathmandu I can recommend to book this tour, you won't be disappointed.
First time in Nepal and my Nepali friend recommended this company. My guide Ramesh was amazing. I ended up being the only one in my group, but it was still great. Ramesh was very accommodating and allowed us to be flexible and join other trekking groups. Weather was somewhat cloudy but he knew when and where to be to get us the best views. We were able to stay out of the rain and wait out for the best views. I highly recommend booking with this company, as it was affordable but had excellent service. The hike was a lot of ascent but had great views and very different scenery. Overall excellent experience and felt that everything was considered, especially since it’s my first time in Nepal and I was on a tight schedule.
