fun

Angie was amazing. Perfect English and a really fun personality- made the experience amazing for my family. Overall tour was excellent. We did it on our first day and it was an efficient way to see some of the more important places and to get a lay of the land so that we can explore on our own. 100% Recommend this tour.

Great experience! Would highly recommend!

Yui was an excellent guide. The tour was a great way to see many things efficiently in Tokyo! She spoke great English and gave us very informative Japanese facts. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone with limited time on a visit to Tokyo.

FUNMAXTIME

Published on May, 2025

The entire tour was conducted very well and I had a great time. Yui was a very knowledgeable guide and I had a lot of fun talking to her. The planning was well done, I felt safe and knew what to do at every step. The only feedback I'd like to give is that when we're at senso-ji we get some info about the temple and it's history. Overall it was a really great time.

Day tour Tokyo

Published on May, 2025

Had a great experience with Day trip. Yui our trip coordinator was excellent. She was patient and has made sure to give a brief about Japanese history behind all the places we visited. Appreciate her efforts and recognize how hard it is coordinate with these many people on a regular basis and yet she made it look easy and effortless with a great smile.

Yui is awesome!

We took so many photos and the tour guide was great! A good combination of free time for exploration and properly explained places. Awesome tour guide with Angie. Definitely recommend.

Yui was great! She made this experience worthwhile. Super fun and educational. I 100% recommend. Tokyo has lots to offer so this tour was a nice start.

Very satisfied

Published on May, 2025

The bus tour was very good. Not only are the places that they take you interesting, but it also allows you to make your own pace through the free time that the tour gives. The tour guide, Angie was fun and helpful. She knew a lot about the places that we went to. This is the best activity to do on the first day if you want to get the lay of the land.

Angie did an amazing job on the tour very friendly and funny. She was very knowledgeable about the tour sites and made sure everyone was comfortable getting around while on the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour!

A Must Do!

Published on May, 2025

We’ve done many tours with this company and the similar ones. Always left completely satisfied! Very informative! Super convenient for visitors, especially first timers! You don’t have to worry about transportation, tickets, misunderstanding the language… no chaos, very organized. And I could say the highlight was our tour guide, Angie! Originally from Philippines, spoke perfect English, great sense of humor, sweet and very helpful! This tour is a MUST!

Angie was our tour guide today and was amazing. She was knowledgeable, humorous, and approachable/relatable. Great restaurant recommendations and all things Tokyo.

Thank you Angie!

A great, well organised tour that guarantees you will see a lot of Tokyo in one day! I wish I had done this on my first day here, but even after a few days exploring, Tokyo is so big that everything on this tour was new to me. Angie is friendly and has a good sense of humour, and communicates instructions very clearly so everything runs to time.

We recently completed our trip to Japan in April 2025. We used TravelOne services to plan and book this trip. Right from the beginning, TravelOne helped us with the planning all aspects our trip from hotels, ground transfers, sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Our driver guides for Tokyo (Yuki), Kyoto/Osaka (Nobu) and Hiroshima (Remi)  were extremely knowledgeable and took care of us throughout the day. They were always on time and customized the trip according to our needs. Working with TravelOne took the stress out and we were able to focus on enjoying the trip. We plan to use TravelOne services again and highly recommend this for your future trip as well.

Excellent tour and service

This was a great tour. If you don't understand Japanese and like horseracing you will enjoy this tour. They will stay with you and show you how to place a bet using a racing website as information on the horses and all the races. We were from Hawaii and there were also some young girls from Europe. Highly recommend this tour at Tokyo racecourse

Beautiful bridges

Leann was a good guide, friendly with a sense of humor. I liked the fact we could explore the cave with her or on our own. She pointed out the mirror image in the water at just the right spot. She provided encouragement when faced with all the steps. The bridges were unbelievable. Breathtaking views from above and what the views were of was great. Bridges were underrated.

Interesting/alternative tour. Rico the guide was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions. Would highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic. An absolute must do

Absolutely spectacular. We had the best weather. Our guide Yuta was wonderful and provided us with the story behind the oilgrimage & the mountain as well as being happy to answer all our questions. He was extremely caring for all people on the trip, young or old. We highly recommend doing the snow walls.

Memorable tour. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time on this pottery tour. From start to finish, it was a thoughtfully curated and enriching experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fun insights that added so much depth to the journey. Meeting the potters was a true highlight—each one was kind, welcoming, and had such fascinating stories and craftsmanship to share. The area itself is stunning, with beautiful scenery that made the day even more special. Lunch was delicious and clearly chosen with care, adding to the overall sense that every detail of the tour was well-planned. This is more than just a tour; it’s an inspiring and memorable experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something unique and meaningful!

Dreamy, delicious & electric

Absolutely outstanding. Ken is the best guide! Incredibly knowledgeable, fun, engaging, great with people (all sorts!) and he guided us through a fun and fascinating area, filled with wonderful food and people, businesses old and new. I can’t recommend this tour or this guide enough. We left feeling both like we wanted more and everything again, and yet were completely thrilled and satisfied with a perfect day.

Best Tour Ever!

The Arashiyama E-Bike tour was a fantastic experience! The views were some of the best I’ve seen and Yuki knew all the best spots to go and take photos. Yuki is insanely knowledgeable about Kyoto and the history of Japan. Leaving with plenty of fun facts and recommendations in my pocket. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Great experience of...

Great experience of Japanese Geisha dance, singing, and Japanese culture understanding. The tour and show are conducted by a tour lady speaking perfect English. On top of all the best, she sings Opera arias, in powerful and emotional ways. Highly recommended for English speaking only tourists who are seriously interested in learning Japanese culture and enjoying watching Geisha shows.

Perfect way to see some cool sites

Really enjoyed this run. My wife gave me this run as part of my birthday present and it was really cool. The guides were really knowledgeable and I definitely visited locations I would have missed visiting solo with the kids. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kyoto who wants to experience some cool sites a little differently.

Erratic driver arrived late in old van reeked of tobacco smoke

This is one of the worst trip advisor booking I have ever experienced. Key points: 1) the driver was more than 10 minutes late and I could not get hold of the driver because the number given to me by the person named, "SATO" gave a wrong number. 2) When he finally arrived, the van reeked of smoke. We immediately put on our N95 masks. 3) His driving was erratic, and other cards beeped their horns at his several times. 4) After arriving at Ashikaga flower park, he could not understand Japanese that was being spoken to him by the traffic guard, so he asked us to open the window and find out what he is saying. (Remember, we are in Japan. How can a driver not understand Japanese and drive??) 5) On the return home, the driver lamented that he had to driver all the way back to Ashikaga where he lived. His driving was even more erratic and scary. 6) We were scared for our lives with his driving. Please consider all the points above before booking this experience.

Fantastic experience and delicious food!

We had a fantastic time learning with Juri. He was very patient and encouraging with two very inexperienced cooks and the food was absolutely delicious after! Just recommend not eating breakfast before!!

Highlight of our Asakusa Trip

We had an excellent experience crafting two silver rings! Highly recommend engraving the rings with Japanese “Asakusa†if you can!

Great guide and tour company

Sanchinko Shimba is one of the best tour guides I have run across in years of touring. She is like a walking encyclopedia. You can save yourself lots of time by having her as a guide and exploring highlights of the city attractions and museums. Additionally, the company she contracted with H.I.S. tours was very accommodating and allowed me to change my tour at the last minute.

Fun and unique

We had an amazing day with Hiro. He took so many great photos and videos of our day visiting the hilltop castles and learning traditional sword fighting. The katana training was a such a fun and unique way to explore Japanese culture and everyone one there made us feel so welcome and part of the class. I’m so happy I found this tour. It created such a great memory for my family! Thank you, Hiro!

Exceeded our expectations

This was absolutely a 10/10 amazing experience. Ayumi was a sweetheart and a pleasure to hang out with. She made us feel like friends that had just come over to laugh and cook together! The setup was great. We learned about the ingredients and some culture, we learned manners and etiquette, learned cooking techniques and more. Cooking was fun and engaging and the end result was a delicious lunch that we could enjoy and also appreciate the work that went into cooking it so we were proud! Ramen and gyoza for the win! Thank you again, Ayumi for a wonderful afternoon of cooking and laughing!

The Best Way to Explore Osaka

We did the full-day Osaka tour and honestly had the best time. Our guide struck the perfect balance between famous sights and local hidden gems—we got to see a side of Osaka we never would’ve found on our own. Everything flowed smoothly, and nothing felt rushed. Great food, fun stories, and super kid-friendly too. My wife and I loved it, and even our little one was smiling all day. Would totally recommend this to anyone visiting Osaka!

Fabulous tour with lovely guides

Fabulous tour with Noto and Nono. We were very lucky to be the only guests on the tour this day. It was so nice not to be part of a large group. Full of history and interesting facts not only about the Meiji Shrine but Japan in general. We had a real conversation with them. They even assisted us get a Suice card at the end of the tour to help us get around on the trains more easily during our stay in Tokyo. Would definitely recommend.

Must Do in Japan

This was the highlight of our trip to Japan. We had an amazing time exploring the canyon with Yuki and Misa, who were both incredibly friendly and spoke fluent English. The experience was fun from start to finish and truly unforgettable. If you are in the area, this is an absolute must. Even if you are visiting Tokyo, it is well worth making the trip for the day. We felt very safe the entire time even though it is our first time canyoning. Worth every cent.
