A cable car trip is the shortest means to reach Chandragiri Hills’ top station. The 2.5 km long cable car ensures a smooth and safe journey, all the while giving you an up-close view of the untainted wilderness. The Bhaleshore Mahadev temple of Lord Shiva is on top of the hill. Covered with dense green wide range of flora, Chandragiri is truly a great productive and pristine landscape. Head by private vehicle from your hotel to Chandragiri hills & to a scenic cable car, where you’ll speed to the top of Chandragiri to enjoy picturesque mountain ranges & beautiful view of the valley.

Glimpse of Himalayas and Kathmandu

A glimpse of the Himalayas and beautiful views of Kathmandu despite the fog. Small hike was just what I needed too.

The best part about this tour was our guide. He was personable and flexible. He made sure we had a good time. The tour does not include the price for the cable car tickets—about USD$20 for round trip. At the top, there were clouds so we were not able to see as good as other days.

I reviewed the one Viator review for this tour prior to booking. It had given the tour a 3/5 stars. My experience was 5/5. Our tour guide was flexible, responsive, and caring. He went out of the way to ensure we had a good experience. We were not able to see some good views--not because of the tour or guide, but just because of the weather. Again, our guide was excellent and flexible. 5/5.
