Paudie was the perfect host, guide and driver.
He is extremely knowledgeable and provided many interesting facts and answered all of our questions. My highest compliment would be that he knew the perfect blend of speaking and providing quiet. Other tours we have taken have had information overload without time to just take in the scenery.
It is obvious he is well liked in the region as the hotel raved about him when we informed them of our guide, as well as many of the ticket takers along the journey. Everyone knew him and had huge smiles when they saw him.
If the entire trip wasn’t enough to have us thoroughly convinced we had the best possible tour guide, Paudie was kind enough to post a forgotten cap on to our next hotel and it was waiting in the room.
We give our highest recommendation to anyone who is looking to tour this area.
