These taxi tours are ideal for families and all lovers of Harry Potter - young or old! From Platform 9 3/4 to the Leaky Cauldron, we visit the sites in London where the filming took place. At each stop there will be an opportunity to get out the cab for short walks to take photos and your friendly driver/guide will play clips from the movies on his iPad to make the experience come alive for you! And if there any muggles in your party who want to see the sights of London as well as Harry Potter sites, this is the perfect tour! (PLEASE NOTE: that this is not a Warner Bros Studio Tour)

  • Westminster

    See the Ministry of Magic where in the movie The Order of the Phoenix, Harry and Mr Weasley attend a hearing because Harry has used magic outside school hours. How did they get in? A London red telephone box of course! Then later in the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Harry, Ron and Hermione have to find a way to get into the Ministry of Magic to retrieve a Horcrux from Delores Umbridge's neck

  • King's Cross Station

    See where Warner Bros have set up a Platform 9 3/4 experience where, if time permits, you can line up to have your photo taken pushing a railway trolly through a wall. There may also be time to visit the souvenir store. But your Wizard driver/guide knows exactly where the sequence was filmed, and might be able to take you right onto the station platform to see where it really happened!

  • The Islington

    Not far from Kings Cross Station in the London suburb of Islington, is a quiet residential street. Unbeknown to its muggle residents, there is is a secret house here. This is 12 Grimmauld Place, the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. Can you spot which house it is?

    We visit the most famous outdoor food market in London crammed with food stalls displaying mouthwatering produce. Nestling unseen amongst its numerous street café’s is a secret doorway to the Leaky Cauldron, the Wizards Pub, and gateway to Diagon Alley. This is where the Knight Bus screeches to a halt outside to let Harry out in the movie Prisoner of Azkaban.

    This architecture at this elegant Victorian market is a feast for the eyes. Its also home to the secret doorway of the Leaky Cauldron pub, gateway to Diagon Alley in the first movie, where Hagrid takes Harry to buy his wizarding supplies for his first day at Hogwarts.

    We take a stop to see London’s stylish Millennium bridge, the bridge that the Death Eaters destroy in the dramatic opening sequence of the movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!

  • Lambeth Bridge (Pass By)

    We drive over Lambeth Bridge, the bridge the Knight Bus had to squeeze through two double-decker red busses on the way to the Leaky Cauldron in the movie The Prisoner of Azkaban.

  • Cecil Court

    If time, we take you to Cecil Court, a quirky pedestrianized street full of odd little independent shops, whcih provided the inspiration for Diagon Alley (which was a film set). Apparently, JK Rowling when writing the first book wandered through here and thought ‘yes, this is the perfect place.’ Take a short stroll down Cecil Court and you’ll probably get what she meant!

Michael, our tour guide,...

Michael, our tour guide, was amazing! even beyond our expectations. He had clips from the films, of the various sites we saw, which he showed us on his ipad, prior to viewing the site itself, which greatly enhanced our experience - both our appreciation of the things we saw, and our overall enjoyment! He knew so much about the subject - Harry Potter books/films. And above all else, he was respectful, yet friendly and personable, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was accommodating to our every wish! Again - the overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we would heartily recommend Michael's tour to anyone who is a fa of Harry Potter.

He had clips from the films of the various sites we saw, which he showed us on his ipad, just before viewing the site itself as well as while viewing them, comparing the them; this greatly enhanced our experience - both our appreciation of the things we saw, and our overall enjoyment! He knew so much about the subject - Harry Potter books/films. And above all else, he was respectful, yet friendly and personable, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was accommodating to our every wish! Again - the overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we would heartily recommend Michael's tour to anyone who is a fan of Harry Potter.

We had a wonderful day on our Harry Potter based tour of London. Our tour guide, Michael was great. He not only showed us the Harry Potter sights, but gave us a great introduction to London. We saw many things we would never have seen otherwise. You can tell that Michael enjoys his job and is happy to share his knowledge and love of London. I would highly recommend this tour.
