    The Dark and Light Cave is a popular tourist destination located in Halong Bay. The cave is divided into two chambers, one with a dark interior and the other with a bright interior. The dark chamber is known for its unique rock formations and stalactites, while the bright chamber is characterized by its natural light and stunning views of the bay.

  • Lan Ha Bay

    In comparison with the booming tourist trade in neighbouring Ha Long Bay, where dozens of ships ply the waters daily and where travellers are surrounded by so many boats that the megaliths somehow lose their magic, Lan Ha Bay is the area’s quieter alternative. Very few cruise companies have permission to sail here, so for most of the journey, sharing the water with a handful of fishing boats, dwarfed in size as they sail past the stone giants.

    Viet Hai Village offers a range of activities for people looking to explore this traditional rural community. One of the top things to do is to take a guided trek or bike ride to the village, stopping along the way to take in the stunning scenery and learn about local flora and fauna from knowledgeable guides. Once in the village, you can explore on foot, meet the friendly locals, and enjoy a traditional meal made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You can also learn about the history and culture of the village, which dates back over 200 years.

Amazing Boat Tour Experience in Cat Ba Bay

The boat tour was a highlight of our trip to Cat Ba Bay. It was an incredible experience, especially for families traveling with kids aged 8-10. The kayaking was a lot of fun and felt safe for the little ones, making it an unforgettable adventure for everyone. The food served on the tour was excellent, with generous portions that particularly catered to Asian and Vietnamese tastes. The variety and quality were impressive, ensuring we were well-fed throughout the day. Visiting Viet Hai village was another standout moment; the journey there, whether by bike or electric car, offered stunning views and a peaceful escape into nature. One unique and exciting activity was the fish massaging - it was such a fun and unexpected experience!

The tour was quite well structured and the guide was very helpful, filled us in with all the necessary information and was very keen on us not getting lost and/or us forgetting our stuff at the different stops. Was an amazing tour with so many beautiful views and also the cycling was super fun and very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to other people too!!

Incredibly well organized tour led by a guide Tony. You get to try a lot in a single day - kayaking in secluded places, swimming and staying on a beautiful beach, biking and enjoying fish massage for your feet. All those activities are well mixed with time to rest and enjoy really delicious food. Tony and the crew made good planning of the tour so that our boat could enjoy all activities with minimum of other people around.

Such an amazing fun filled day. Kayaking, swimming, cycling, fish foot massage, great guides... Delicious lunch and plenty to go around! So much to love about this trip. Just do it!
