Overview

Come with us as we venture to some of our favourite pubs in Dublin, learning to pour your own pint of Guinness, sampling some Irish Whiskeys, and making your own Irish coffee along the way. Together, we’ll explore Dublin’s famous Temple Bar area, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant, bustling neighbourhood, before heading off to a beloved local haunt, nestled in the shadow of Christ Church Cathedral, in an area once known locally as ‘Hell’. We’ll visit four pubs altogether, finishing up at a traditional Irish music session in a true Dubliner’s pub. Dublin pubs are as varied and wonderfully storied as those who frequent them. We’ve brought together a couple of pubs that we feel represent some of the best that the city has to offer. Each of us is an accredited guide and proud Dubliner, as well as an actor, a musician, or an artist of some description. We love showing people around the city that we call home, and whose unfolding story we are proud to be a part of.

Marvelous walking pub tour of Dublin!!

Our pub tour was fantastic!! Dan took our family to 4 historic pubs with 4 very distinct experiences. We learned how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness, we tasted several Irish Whiskies, we enjoyed an Irish Coffee and we heard some wonderful traditional Irish music! It was a perfect day in Dublin for our family-many thanks to Dan! I highly recommend this tour!

It was a choice between this tour or a different one with a different company. So glad I chose this one. The tour was amazing. We went to some really cool pubs and learned how to pull the perfect pint if guinness, which we got to drink, had a whiskey tasting, made Irish coffees and finished off at an amazing trad session! Our guide was full of knowledge, a local, and had a great sense of humour. He was very entertaining and we could have stayed out all evening. I give this tour 6 out of 5 stars and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I had a blast on this tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable and charming. We learned so much about Dublin and Irish culture, as well as how to pour the perfect Guinness. This was such a great tour, I really recommend it! Our guide was so knowledgeable about all things Irish, and was able to convey everything in such a fun way. We learned to pour our own Guinness in a private bar in Temple Bar, did some great whiskey tastings, learned how to make an Irish coffee and got to go to a proper traditional music session. This is a must do for anyone who wants an authentic Irish pub experience!
