What an awesome experience (but very long day). David was our tour guide and was funny and informative. We spent nearly 3 hours at the Blarney Castle to kiss the stone and it was barely enough time. It took over an hour to make the climb up and it’s not for claustrophobic or people who have a hard time standing and climbing. We, then, stopped in the town of Cork. Because it was a Sunday, everything wasn’t open. It felt like we were still in Dublin, only on a smaller scale (but don’t say that out loud as the people in Cork would be offended). The Rock of Cashel was amazing place to visit. So much history. If you stop and stand still, you can imagine how people lived hundreds of years ago. Again, it’s a long day and dress for rain (bring a rain jacket or umbrella).
