Great Museum

This was a wonderful immersive experience. We did not actually have it on our itinerary but were pleasantly surprised when our guide brought us here.

What an amazing museum. A definte highlight of my Dublin trip. It was so interactive, learnt so much about Irish history, left feeling I understood the Irish so much more and their influence in the world. Staff were really helpful. It took about 2 hours to go round. Lots of places to sit and read information Love the interactive passport, too.

Very interesting and worth the visit. The museum takes you through a number of different exhibits explaining how Ireland got to where it is today through all of their struggles, hardships, and successes that have been achieved by the Irish people within Ireland and worldwide. We could have spent a lot more time than the 1.5 to 2 hours that we did.

I was in doubt if we should take our almost 3 years old children to this museum and now I am happy we did it. We spent a bit over an hour inside and it was interesting both for us and for them. We had the time to read or listen while they were busy stampling the passports, coloring, we spent time togheter at the music and dance section and they loved it. We also did.
