Overview

Your private chauffeur will meet you at Le Havre/Honfleur Cruise Terminal. Relax in your private minibus on a 2-hour ride and enjoy the view of the countryside on the way. Your first stop is at Point du Hoc where you will see the bomb craters untouched since the war. Climb thru the various bunkers to witness how the Germans used the cliffs to their advantage and imagine how the Amricans attacked and captured the battery after scaling the cliffs. Head to Omaha Beach and pass through 8 kms of the coast of facing the English Channel. Ashore, you will find a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought the war. A nearby museum can be optionally visited. Next, continue the tour to the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the fighters of the battle The visitor center offers a detailed exhibition about the war.

    Continue the tour to the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the fighters of the battle. On 2019, President Macron and President Trump jointly visited the cemetery honor of 75th anniversay of DDay. You can also stop by the visitor center for a detailed exhibition about the war.

  • Sainte-Mere-Eglise

    Discover Sainte-Mère-Église, a town in Normandy, was one of the first liberated during the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944. U.S. 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers landed in the area, some unintentionally dropping into the town itself. A famous event involved paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute snagged on the church steeple; he pretended to be dead before escaping German capture. After fierce fighting, the Allies secured the town by morning. Today, Sainte-Mère-Église symbolizes D-Day bravery, with tributes like a parachute on the church and museums honoring the liberation.

Great experience at Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery

The most memorable points of interest were Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery. We also visited Gold Beach, Arromanches, the Overlord Museum and Bayeux, It was all very special. Sunny made sure we got to experience what we wanted and she and Mo were very considerate of our time and making sure we had a great experience….which we did.
