  • Arenal Hanging Bridges

    The hanging bridges consists of a series of suspension bridges that are suspended high above the forest floor,providing visitors with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. As visitors cross the suspension bridges, they will have the opportunityto observe the forest canopy and the wildlife that inhabits it as well visitors may spot a wide variety of animals, including monkeys, sloths, toucans, and other exotic birds.

    Just 10 min away of downtown It is the waterfall, a 500-step trail will take you to the base were in non-rainy season you can take a swim in the pure water of the rain forest this is a unique opportunity to enjoy nature and relax.

    The tour consists in a combination of forest trails and lava trails, were you will walk about 2 miles towards the volcano base, where are located some basaltic andesite lava flows, the guide will share with you all the natural history of the surroundings of Arenal.

First time in Costa Rica

We did 3 excursions with Carlos in La Fortuna and let me tell you, he was the best! Friendly, knowledgeable, funny and made our time with him very enjoyable. He also was able to accommodate our group of 6 with transportation to and from our VRBO. Definitely be in touch with Carlos when we return to Costa Rica.

Fantastic La Fortuna Tour with Carlos

Our full-day tour with Carlos was absolutely wonderful! All three sites were very cool and worth the visit, and he was such an amazing guide - spotted so much wildlife and he has mastered the art of getting it focused in the scope and taking pictures for you. Many incredible views of birds, monkeys, reptiles, even a sloth. Also super knowledgeable about many different topics. Van ride between visits was comfy and the trip also included a delicious lunch and snacks. I would highly recommend Carlos for anyone looking for an exceptional small-group tour in La Fortuna.
