Overview

Cycle your way through the charming cobblestone streets of Puerto Vallarta, discovering along the way the landmarks, history and hidden treasures that make the city great. This guided small group bike tour will take you to Puerto Vallarta’s neighborhoods of Cinco de Diciembre, Centro (downtown) and Old Town. You will explore iconic sights and local spots including the Church of Guadalupe, the vibrant town plaza, Los Muertos Beach Pier, a local fish market, cemetery and the famed Malecon (boardwalk). Along the way, you will indulge in regional delicacies including carnitas, barbacoa, chilaquiles, carne asada, homemade artisanal ice cream and end your tour at a beachfront bar with a frosty brew.  Learn the history of these regional dishes and their preparation. Taste why UNESCO added Mexican cuisine to its lists of the world’s “intangible cultural heritage”. The Bike and Bites tour will take you on a memorable adventure through the sights, cuisine and people of Vallarta!

Great way to explore Puerto Vallarta

A fun way to see Puerto Vallarta! While on the bike lanes it was good. Wasn't a fan of the sidewalk riding or The Malecon outside the bike lanes. But I the tour was early enought and it wasn't that busy. Taco stops were good

Really fun tour. Got to see parts of the city we otherwise wouldn't have and the tacos were amazing! Our guide was a PV native and was very knowledgeable and informative on the local culture. Thanks Homero!

Bike food tour!

Great active food tour. The biking was fun. Maybe about 5 miles for 3 hours. Do not eat before you go as you will for sure be full! Great tacos and an even better guide. Gio was awesome. The margaritas at the end was perfect. Will for sure be back!

Highlight of our Vacation!

We can not say enough great things about Homero and this bike tour! First and foremost, Homero was absolutely fantastic. Our comfort and safety were his top priority, along with making sure we had fun and were well fed. All of the tacos were absolutely delicious and the stop at the ice cream shop was a big hit with our sons. We thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride through both old and new Puerto Vallarta and although it's been a while since some of us have ridden a bike, the terrain was very manageable. It was a quick and easy taxi ride from the cruise terminal and we had ample time to reboard the ship before departure. We highly recommend this tour and look forward to returning in the future.

What an adventure on Bikes and Bites

I don’t ride electric bikes but gave it a shot. Nervous about the rocky road. Man was I wrong. What an amazing morning we had. The bikes were easy to ride had no concerns a once our guide showed me the way to ride. The tacos were awesome we have already gone back to one of the vendors. Hopes to get back to a few more. Would highly recommend this tour. Saw things in PV I didn’t know about in the 15 years of traveling here.
