I booked a taxi via booking.com, and Cristopher arrived at the airport to take us to the hotel. This is how we first saw and met Mauritius. All the way to the hotel Cristopher was telling us history and interesting facts about the island and its people. We enjoyed Cristopher's company so much, that ended up booking 4 excursions with Cristophe from the agency he worked at:
1. Authentic South - Cristopher was with us at each stop, introducing us to Mauritius's beauty
2. Climbing on Le Morne Brabant - Cristopher was climbing with us, helping to find a suitable rock to step on or pull the body up by using our hands. On our way up, he was generously helping other solo tourists with advice on how to climb, as Le Morne is not the easiest mountain to climb
3. North beaches - Cristopher was giving us enough time to see each beach and swim where we wanted
Time spent with Christophe - is one of our brightest memory about Mauritius. Thank you Cristophe for taking care of us and showing marvelous Mauritius from different sides!
