We had a great day out with the friendly Neptune crew. The drinks were flowing shortly after take off, and the whole vibe was super relaxed. The waterfall was an interesting interlude. The snorkelling was also good, with user friendly equipment and shoals of ? angel fish. The delicious lunch, barbecued on board, included chicken, tuna, rice and slaw followed by fresh pineapple . The only slightly jarring note was the 2 hour stay on the Ile aux Cerfes itself. We had not been prepared for such a long interval here and had bought little money, while everything was unusually expensive. The day would have been better with a shorter stop here, and it would have been helpful to have been better informed about this element of the trip.
It was excellent trip. North side attraction are worth the money. SSR botanical garden is very picturesque and one can easily spend 2 hours here. It is very peaceful as well. Guide is very professional and knowledgeable as well. he took us through the streets and made changes as we requested. We also visited the aquarium for 1-2 hours. It is very nice as well. We also requested for beach visit, which tour guide happily took us. Overall highly recommended. We could do all this since we stayed in north side area. If you are staying in south it might be difficult to cover all. Note: All tickets needs to be bought by yourself. Keep cash in case card doesnt work. It didnt work at SSR garden.
The trip was good. Our driver Lux arrived half an hour early. He re- scheduled the itenary so we could able to see much more. Only negative thing is the Casela park reached closing time and attractions begined to close. If you want to do more and see , you should visit in the morning. The other thing is the driver is a bit pushy to stop at some shops. Otherwise it was a good trip.
The tour was really good. Our guide and driver Agi, was really organised and had got in touch via WhatsApp the day before and made sure he was contactable. He arrived promptly and explained the whole day plan, then along the route he was very knowledgable and explained a lot about the local area’s and mauritius in general, as well as more about the sights we were seeing. The tour was very scenic, could see a lot of great natural parts of mauritius and was well worth the trip. Also to end off with some amazing lunch (vegetarians catered for) and views of the beach were amazing. Thank you Agi.
Great tour to the most popular sites on the southwest part of the island. The 7 coloured earth was definetly the highlight of the tour, howevere driving between the sites was with good views as well. We were picked up by guide Babou, who did a good job as our driver/guide for the day. A good mix between explaning facts about the sites, but also letting us explore the sites by ourselves. The freedom from a private tour is also very convenient. Lunch was local 3 dishes, we liked it. All in all a good tour to see the highlights of the southwest.
I was kept informed by Whatsapp message where and what time to meet my driver. The driver (Bilal) was there ahead of our meeting time so we were able to leave earlier than expected. He kept our plan flexible as rain was expected later in the day, so we were able to see some of the viewpoints in the morning while the weather was still good. The road to the viewpoint was closed later in the day due to the rain. Bilal told me lots of information about the island & it's history and the areas we passed through and he pointed out places of interest. We stopped to take pictures as we went along. We had an hour and a half at La Vallee de Coleurs Nature Park so I was able to do my own thing and there was plenty of choice in things to do - walking, ziplining, quadbiking. Bilal was easy to talk to and encouraged me to ask questions. We went to a local restaurant for an amazing lunch. Bilal was prepared for the heavy rain as he had umbrellas in the car. The traffic was light as it was a public holiday so we had time to drive around Port Louis and he stopped so I could take pictures of the Hindu temple and other sights. We made it back to the port in plenty of time. Would definitely recommend the tour.
Manav, our driver was also our guide during our transfers to and from our hotel and always on time. We enjoy a lot with the trÃp to Bentiers island organized by Freshverde. We could see some dolphin but we think people must be more respectable with dolphin. We enjoy visiting Benitiers island, we tasted coconut cocktail and the food prepared by Fresverde was really good. Manav was a good driver and a good person and thats why we choosed him as our private guide for other trips. We recomend Manav and the company Freshverde also.
Manav our driver was very good arrived on time and drove very carefully. He was very helpful at offering us advice on local trips and restaurants we could visit which was very helpful given it was our first time in Mauritius. In our way to the destination Manav told us about the islands history and culture which was also very interesting. Would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to tour around the island

Pamplemousse botanical Gardens We then went to the beach where we relaxed. On our return through the mountains Yaz stopped as I needed another drink. Very helpful and informative trip Luxurious car. Poor communication at the start. Messaged when we first booked the tour that we would have luggage coming off the cruise ship and wanted to ensure we could be accommodated to be dropped off at our lodgings after the tour. The night before, told we would be in a standard vehicle, a little vague if our luggage could be accommodated. Driver shows up surprised about our luggage and proceeds to complain throughout the tour about the third party operator who took our reservation. Safari is more like an open zoo than a true safari. Hyena was pacing which indicates maladaptive behavior in captivity which means Casela Park does a poor job with environmental enrichment. Roller coaster was broken when we were there, later up and running but we had no time left at the park and told no refunds. Lunch arrangement was satisfactory. Overall, tour hit most of the basic points, but somewhat underwhelming experience
This was our 2nd trip with Mautourco and we asked if we could have Eddy again and they obliged. We went to botanical gardens, sugar world tour, st Louis city visit, church at Notre dame auxiliatrice de cap malheureux. Absolutely fantastic day again and we could not praise Eddy any higher. His English, knowledge and patience has made our Mauritius visit truly unforgettable. Thankyou Eddy.
