Exceptional day out and worth the cost

Notable sights and slices of Mauritian life

We booked a day tour through our very helpful Rep Imtiaz/. It was called the Wild South. Our Driver Joel was an excellent and informative guide, good fun and as he got to know us, tailored everything to our interests too. The tour was a great introduction to some beautiful natural spots and phenomenon, also including a visit and lunch at a Rum Distillery with tour and tastings. The whole day was very relaxed and yet still covered a huge amount from notable sights to funny little slices of Mauritian life pointed out by Joel. We are very grateful to him for his time and care in making sure that we enjoyed our day.

Ragoo is a superstar !

Ragoo is a total asset to this company and whatever you are paying him, it isn’t enough! Ragoo made our tour the best thing we did in Mauritius. He is so knowledgeable about Mauritian history, culture, flora and fauna, the list goes on and on! We transferred from Lux Grand Gaube to Lux Le Morne with sightseeing on the way. Ragoo was patient, helpful, answered all of our questions and some we didn’t even think to ask! We couldn’t have been looked after any better or learned as much from anyone else. Fantastic tour of the South west

We took the full day wild south tour in a private car. It was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend it - we seemed to fit so much into the day and saw so much of Mauritius but it didn’t feel rushed. We visited the volcano, Hindu temple, waterfall, 7 coloured earth and rum distillery (and more!). Vick our driver and tour guide was excellent- he was so knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we had a really fun and enjoyable day out! Mauritius is absolutely beautiful, the food provided on the trip was nice in a restaurant with outstanding views!

We had 3 trips with Mautourco, for all of these trips we had Raggoo. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable about everything we did. We wanted a true sense of Mauritius and he gave this experience to us which we really enjoyed and appreciated. He was very punctual and friendly. We could not recommend this company and our tour guide Raggoo enough!
