A witty journey back in time!

Watching this open air theatre performance was one of the things we looked forward to the most while planning our trip to Greece. The performance takes place on a rooftop with the majestic Acropolis in the background and it just adds an extra dimension to the show. The performance is comprised of 5 small plays rooted in Ancient Greek history. The actors put up a phenomenal performance and take you through a journey back in time. The show is a roller coaster of fun, wits, laughs and sombreness. All in all, this was one of the most memorable evenings during our time in Athens and we can’t recommend this show enough.

We really enjoyed this performance in an open air theatre in view of the Acropolis. The instructions for pick up of tickets was a bit confusing - you just had to find the theatre and ask for tickets at the front desk. It was the last night of the season and the atmosphere was wonderful.

This was a lot a fun. It was creative and entertaining. There was classical and modern influences incorporated into classics. You could tell that the actors also really had fun performing. And the performance was on the roof, the acropolis in the background, with awesome picture taking views of the city.
