Overview

Be awed by the spectacular beauty of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba on a guided tour of one of the most visited monuments in Spain. Conserving the decorative style of an Islamic mosque, construction of the magnificent monument began in the 8th century. Later extensions vastly increased its size, turning it into the second biggest mosque in the world before it became a Catholic cathedral. Great tour & building - our tour guide Jose was very knowledgeable and did great in explaining the previous mosque and the catedral. I wish we had a bit more time for pictures and general wandering. Group was a bit big - 28. Audioguide worked really well.

Tour guide was exceptional. The history of this mosque cathedral is fascinating. There is a lot of standing, yet one is listening to such a storied past, it did not matter.

This is a must do visit. Viator offered us a great service and our guide was wonderful . I would stay away from getting toptour tickets. Both time we used them both in Seville and in cordoba ,they took our ticket reservation and the same day of the visit told us that the time we requested was sold.. terrible terrible customer service.. and when I told them I got tickets through Viator they answer they were glad for us.. how inconsiderate..never again
